I don't have any super high expectations, but lord do I hope that if they are adding high elves it is part of some overall reworking of how races work and not just "you can make your blue eyed blood elf on the blue team now, stop bothering us about it."

You can already do that with Void Elves. In fact, based on lore, you could give Void Elves green eyes. There are green-eyed Void Elves NPCs in Telogrus.

It was absolutely never a full scale war, which is what people who are asking for faction conflict want. They don't want vanilla, they want Cataclysm, BFA...

There were "tensions". That's about it.

Me, crushing a Theramore sailor's skull in the orc starting zone or exchanging prisoners of war in Borean Tundra, "what were you saying?"

Because the factions are Nato. There doesn't need to be a war for them to matter. Nato still mattered before Russia invaded Ukraine.

Dyes will never happen. Recolours are the lifeblood of so many reward systems.

I do see them doing it at some point going forward; as new housing interior items are being designed this way. So at that point forward transmog appearances have customizable colors but everything before that works the way it does now.

Or maybe it becomes purely a developer option; where they give us more than 6 recolors of all armor & weapons, but the devs still control what varieties we get because otherwise when in MMOs where players have full control over color pallets everything start to look butt-ugly.

I like the conspiracy that the Chronicle tale is bullshit and Odyn actually was spying on the Jailer instead of what the Jailer thought. Maybe to keep an eye (lol) on how the Primus was doing.

I think part of the "Titan Conspiracy" will be Prime Designate Odyn and the Primus were in cahoots as the Titans main conspirators in reality/Shadowlands.

I definitely want Sylvanas back but i see her coming back in a patch. It would be cool to see her coming back in the cinematic though.

I think the coolest would be Azshara. She will obviously betray us but having her to help us against Xal during Midnight would be cool, and they are probably pretty equal in power.

I am bit interested to see how they tackle keeping the Void enemies interesting after K'aresh. There's only so many ways you can depict amorphous purple blobs. I am sure there's going to be void-corrupted elves and trolls too. But even then, primalists start looking like compelling villains by comparison.

Curious, there were some screen shots in the Legion Remix stuff that features the recoloured legion class order hall armour the Orc is wearing? Has that been datamined and put onto say, wowhead's dressing room? And the void elf's wearing armour from the starting zone for DHs, in what appears to be a new colour combination

Terrible idea. My guild has a thriving community going exactly cause we do 2 open raid nights where anyone can come for normals. IF it becomes queueable then even less people will bother with guilds and communities. Every time we introduce something where people are randomly forced to play together (and I include low level M+ in that) the toxicity and degradation of the community takes another step.

Complete devil's advocate, I do not actually want LFR removed, but wouldn't they just scale LFR to be similar to Normal and Heroic would resemble Normal more than Heroic now?

It would just be Open Heroic.

I am already starting to feel a little void fatigue, similar to how people felt about fel from the end of WoD to Legion. I hope there's some non-voidy stuff in the expac aside from, like, elves. Elves and the void are super boring to me, so I really hope the mounts look cool because that's basically all I play this game for anymore.

I was going to say: while a lot of us would just like HD Quel'thalas + Zul'aman zone + mystery zone, I think if they want new players they will have to punch it up with a wow factor. And not just Quel'danas with purple laser/storm because that happened in Legion.

Sky islands would make it interesting, they just have to be careful not to ruin the old aesthetics- and from the art they showed of SMC, I don't think that will be an issue.

Id much rather have an underwater naga zone with lots of underwater content on the beaches and under the water of them near the shore. Use Vashjir tech.

Give more customization to void elves and blood elves. Why make a new race when you can just give more customization to the existing ones?
I hope we have playable naga; that would be more original.
