I have a strong feeling that Midnight won't be as (Blood)-Elf heavy as some people here hope. They'll probably play a role like Earthen in TWW and the actual focus is gonna be on Titans and possibly Humans/Undead.

11.2.5 PTR is playable but there are no retail features besides CD manager updates and Turbo Boost, only Legion Remix.

There is potential for Ethereals to be added to 11.2.5 based on the Gleeful Glamour being accessible only in 11.2.5.

I dont like them skipping retail story content for albeit fun events. They did it with the anniversary event, and now they are doing it again with lemix.

Elves are a huge part of the setting overall and exceptionally popular.

Shockingly, they may get a bit of focus in Midnight after being largely ignored in favour of orcs, humans and undead during what many falsely attribute as 'too much elf screentime'.

Have you played WoW since Legion? Undead? As in Forsaken Undead? Those Forsaken? More screentime than elves?
Orcs?! I haven't heard that since SoO into WoD.

She always had yellow eyes in the elven form. That's also a big lore thing.

Does anyone else think we will lose in Midnight and Northerend will be the last bastion of safety on the planet?

I kind of think the opposite. If the idea is for us to uncover the Titans' conspiracy against Azeroth you would get the most emotional impact imo if their arrival (logically at Ulduar in Northrend) is mostly celebratory. Though I think one of them dies in the reveal cinematic.

I completely agree on this point. And it's something we've already seen- Metzen talked about it in his initial reveal of the Saga expansions, and the leaked preorder bonuses are fully focused on Light vs. Void. All of the cosmetics (except for the main character portraits) all have Light and Void versions.

I think pretty much all of the "leaks" that tried to go into detail about the story can be safely ruled out because of that- I can't think of a single one that talked about anything more than a token Light presence.




I think that, most likely, all of them are fake. But if I had to pick one that seems somewhat believable, I think it'd have to be this one:



Most of the key features sound like believable evolutions of the tech we already know they've been making. New artifacts to build on the Reshii Wraps and Remix Artifacts, World Tiers like Legion Remix, and a Delve editor to make actual content with the housing tools. Plus no implausible-sounding story writeup to immediately expose it.

Of course, it could just be a well thought out fake, using stuff that we already have evidence for and thinking of how current features could evolve into bigger features. But the Delve editor, at least, doesn't seem like something I think we would guess even though it makes a lot of sense as a Housing companion feature.

I dont believe for a second that they would add a class with 2 tanking specs.

I will be kinda disappointed if they won’t reveal a new class… like, we know the title of the xpac, we know a HUGE feature that is playerhousing, we know a big part of its story, we know there’s gonna be new raid, dungeons and delves…

Well there was a Spanish streamer last Blizzcon who apparently got told by mistake there'd be more then 1 class this saga, so we'll find out in less then 4 hours.

Just like every announcement, we're gonna have some unhappy people that's for sure.

Azshara originally had golden eyes already (and still does in her pretend night elf form), so that probably doesn't mean anything.

At least the previous two were Alliance-only. The model is new for the Horde. The Alliance already has the Thalassian model. They just need to give it more customization. They could even give it green eyes and a DH class.
Blood Elves should have more light customizations and a Druid class.

As someone going through 11.1 for the first time, I pray that they leave dynamic ground mounts behind in Undermine. I suck assssss with it, lol.

I think there are multiple possible concepts for dynamic ground mounts. I particularly like the jumpy one. Normal mount but jumps really high. Also spiders walking up walls and upside down on ceilings etc.
