(They'll possibly never get early data access again)
Technically not an early data access thing, Blizzard pushed the keys for the pre-order models (except for the decor models) to PTR too early.

At the point we're headed for Wrath of the Shdowlands Dragon Isles Lich and tinkers.

I always thought she would show up but wasn't sure if it would be in 12.0, or a patch. Same for Sylvanas.

It could have an elite version like the TWW did.

Instead of introducing a new class, Midnight will focus on deepening the existing class identities through the "Class Synergies" system. This feature is designed to move beyond simple group buffs and create powerful, active ability combinations between different classes, rewarding coordinated team play in both PvE and PvP content.

    How It Works:
This system will allow certain abilities to interact directly with abilities cast by other players. While a comprehensive list of synergies is not yet available, a few examples are provided to illustrate the concept:

Elemental Fusion: A Mage casting Frost Nova to freeze a group of enemies could create a "Brittle" debuff. If a Warrior then uses Shattering Throw on a Brittle target, it would not only deal significantly increased damage but also trigger an area-of-effect explosion of icy shards.

Shadowlight Concord: A Priest who shields an ally with Power Word: Shield could enable a Paladin's Hammer of Wrath to be used on any target for a short duration, regardless of their health percentage, and have its damage converted to a mix of Holy and Shadow damage.

Nature's Bond: A Hunter's Tar Trap could be ignited by a Druid's Sunfire, creating a larger, more intense burning ground that also heals allies standing within it.

The goal of this system is to make group composition more dynamic and strategic, encouraging players to experiment with different class combinations to unlock devastating new tactical possibilities.

    The Vigil: An Evolving Endgame
"The Vigil" is introduced as a new, dynamic endgame progression system that will serve as a central pillar of the player's activities in Midnight. It represents the ongoing, organized effort by the heroes of Azeroth to stand guard against the encroaching forces of the Void.

    Key Features:

Seasonal, Narrative-Driven Content: The Vigil will evolve with the expansion's main story. Rather than a static daily quest hub, it will be a system that presents new challenges, objectives, and rewards that directly reflect the current state of the war. For example, one season might focus on defending key locations in Quel'Thalas, while another could involve venturing into Void-corrupted zones on K'aresh.

Repeatable, Scalable Challenges: At its core, The Vigil will offer a variety of repeatable content that scales in difficulty. This includes new solo challenges, small group scenarios, and larger world objectives. The intent is to provide a compelling alternative or supplement to the existing endgame pillars of Mythic+ dungeons, raiding, and PvP.

Progression and Rewards: Participating in Vigil activities will earn players a new form of reputation or standing. As their standing increases, they will unlock access to powerful gear, unique cosmetic items, new chapters in the expansion's story, and enhancements for their Player Housing. This will be a primary method for earning powerful equipment outside of traditional raiding or high-level Mythic+ dungeons.

The Vigil system aims to create a more integrated and thematically consistent endgame, where players feel their efforts are directly contributing to the overarching narrative of fighting back against the Void.
    I hate everything about this.

Class Synergies would be a even worse minmax nightmare that we already have but I doubt it's real. No Idea who would be excited about this.

I hate the synergies but I like some aspects of the Vigil.

I would actually like those synergies, if they work even without other players.. like tar trap should be then ignited by any other hunter fire ability.. Tbh i always liked these elemental synergies in crpg games from Larian - like BG3 or Divinity original sin 2.. Like water and lightning created stormy cloud etc..
