Here's what I'm hoping will salvage this for me:

- Cool features in the panels that they didn't think they'd need to mention today (seems unlikely but wth, maybe?).

- Housing to blow me away so that'll at least be a fun pastime.

- Zul'Aman to be a really cool Zuldazar-esque jungle that's super immersive.


Beyond that, I'm not sure.

- Quel'Thalas doesn't blow me away, seems like they pretty much uprezzed the original and the landscape looks pretty basic from what I've seen.

- Really disliking that we're back to not having one complete continent, which I loved that Dragonflight brought back after Shadowlands.

- Basically nothing of what players had come to expect, from class/race combos, to a class, to High Elves, Ethereals or Forest Trolls, a bunch of new character customisation, or any major new systems on top of housing (on the scale of artifacts). Not even a single mention of Hero Talents.

I mean...it's Quel'thalas. Did you expect Silvermoon to get a crazy upgrade? Cause Ghostlands doesn't really exist anymore lmao

It says its under the roots of the world tree. So guessing portal sadly or maybe some random tunnel?

It actually says it "sits at the confluence of the World Trees' great roots" as in at the base where Shaladrassil, Teldrassil, Amirdrassil and the others all meet.

Harrandar will be the convergence of all the roots of the world trees, so I'm assuming a non-connected zone.

They look like they are using the ascended nerubian Skeletons so they look odd but i guess maybe something new for the harandar

Because people were really in on harranir being part of Midnight, right?

That doesn't matter. People expecting Ethereals were setting themselves up for disappointment. This entire saga has been planned out. They wouldn't have added the Ethereal models if they ever had the slightest intent to add them as a race.

They had intent to add Haranir as a race so it had a proper player race model. People kept trying to justify it, but its just. not. happening.

Okay, but aside from like, Salandria, every single Blood Elf character is literally just a High Elf who decided to change their name like 25 years ago.
