I like the idea that alliance are ALREADY welcome in Silvermoon since its not war-time, just like real life cities when rival powers aren't at war... Citizens can visit. In fact, Alleria and Turalyon do in a short story. Turalyon does freely, and Alleria has to be watched because she is a threat to the Sunwell.

Had to go out and run an errand, and while I was out, I thought on things.
Once I got over the "meh", for the most part I do like what I see. The Haranir (or Haronir or however the hell its spelled) don't interest me much, it does feel like they were supposed to be in TWW but got slotted out (maybe to put in K'aresh?). Their realm looks neat though, and maybe we'll get some more answers about what the hell the Beledar is too.
Voidstorm looks neat. Silvermoon is lovely. Overall a pretty bog-standard expansion, really, which is probably partly why it can be a bit disappointing.
Yep.
I find it a little wierd no one's mentioning the fact we're seeing elves without glowing eyes for the first time in the cinematic. I've seen official art for the Kaldorei with irises but in-game, all the elves are shown with glowing iris-less eyes. This was a nice surprise in the cinematic that they didn't have to do.
Also, have people been noticing the opening cinematics have been getting longer lately? Because they have been. I think this one may actually be the longest one made yet. Unlike TWW's which doesn't make it clear what the world-ending threat is, Midnight shows you very clearly.
In TLT (The Last Titan), we're probably gonna ally with Xal'Atath again.
...Ok, time to change the ol' Sig ^_^

The internet: where to every action is opposed an unequal overreaction.
I think I am saddest that Spellblade is buried. We got nothing on Hero Talents so I assume we get no new ones (I thought it could perhaps be done as a Mage Hero Talent). No expansion would fit the class as much as this. I am not exactly surprised; pragmatically, adding another melee/tank class offered little except a new theme to the game. But it still sucks because it is one of the most popular fantasy archetypes and I don't think any of the MANY melee magic users in game actually does it justice thematically (because each of them has its own strong theme).

We all knew we were not getting a new class, they are creative bankrupt and can barely balance what they have.
And on top of that they are lazy, they totally save those for the new expansion to say they are new expansion stuff, cause besides house they had nothing to sell this expansion on
Seems like we will never see a day again when we have 2 new races, one for each faction like the good old days, cause blizzard is set on destroying their own thematic
I think they are going to go into the nitty gritty like they usually do in the deep dive panels, where a lot tends to get revealed. If ethereal are coming in 11.2.7/11.2.5, then I doubt it'd be labeled a Midnight feature, thus not in the trailer.
You are right though that they might still happen even if they aren't announced here. Until we have a 11.2.7 PTR I wouldn't count them out.
