Well, if nothing else the fact you can put armor on the Ethereals and they come in two Body Types. Well, we're just wrong on their implementation like Harranir.

Either way, I think we shouldn't overhype NPCs these are not player characters but just NPCs.
I no longer reply to quotations beyond if you're asking a genuine question or have a non-confrontational stance.

Thalassians in blue and gold clothing, as well as a new Ethereal NPC of some sort, are visible in the new gamescom b-roll footage, brought to you by Xbox!

So the campaign in Midnight won't be linear.

First you will go through Eversong and Silvermoon, and then you will be able to choose between 3 questlines, and after you do them you're sent to the final zone.

It'd be pretty hilarious if the "unifying the scattered Elven tribes" comment actually amounted to nothing at all. Like if it was just that at the end of the campaign you convince the Void+High and Blood Elves to fight together to retake the sunwell for that one "unified force" finale and then that is it. They just go back to their own corners.

We can only dream of this. World peace is a cancer.
Dickmann's Law: As a discussion on the Lore forums becomes longer, the probability of the topic derailing to become about Sylvanas approaches 1.

Tinkers will be the next Class confirmed.

so this could only mean high elves + void elves + high elves... but this doesn't make much sense? Except if they mean in the context of silvermoon (access)
This is what i've been yelling about whenever people brought up a Silvermoon hub.

With Silvermoon intact, with the Sunwell still running, with no actual permanent threat to Elvenhood, there is no incentive for the Blood Elves to give 2 shits about reuniting with the Helves and Velves.

I like that a lot tbh! You have the freedom to start in a zone you want the most or excited about the most.

Turn down the hopium. They would already reveal them as selling features.

Pretty good way of going about it.

family bonds? there might be people who are high elves, that have family that is blood elf and void elf. We had that with the windrunner sisters. One a void elf, one a high elf, and one a darkfallen.

The context is people reading into a single ethereal NPC that has something to do with neighborhoods/housing and there being high elf NPCs in the central hub part of SMC.

3 questlines? There are only 2 zones before the final zone, wierd.

Stratholme probably won't be updated, but I'm guessing they will add additional mountain between the zones to separate the city from Eversong Woods.

So they confirmed on Gamescom that we will visit Stratholme during the campaign.

Wouldn't really mind that tbh. The whole thing seemed sus to me. Especially if it involved any Night Elves which I'm glad it doesn't. At least from what we know.

Windrunners have "great" family bonds, indeed. They want to kill each other.

Ethereals is starting to seem eerily like Ankoan back in BfA. A fantastic idea for an AR that loads of people were extremely excited about, and which would have added lots of exciting lore to players. And in the end, we got an AR nobody really cared about, and which has been the laughng stock ever since.

At least Harranir isnt nearly as bad as trash gnomes, but I am getting flashbacks.

I think this is where Harranir (sorry if I spelled it wrong) will come into place. Maybe their world tree is what will connect them all? Kinda like Madame Web
