Today's news consists of a few sporadic tweets from atendees at the convention, sadly.

Technically speaking any forest trolls that co-operate with the Horde stop being considered part of the Amani, like the Revantusk. Plus, in all footage of the Prey system, its Amani trolls attacking you. And then just on a visual level, they made them look like orcs. They're now reskins of orcs. Why are the people asking for Amani allied race happy with this? That female Amani is just a female orc. They're identical.

You fight one (1) Amani troll in the prey system, which also features those new Squidward-looking void guys. Also, the reason the Revantusk aren't considered Amani is because they left the Empire. If the Empire joins the Horde or the part that doesn't go purple anyway they'll remain Amani. The troll male skeleton is a refresh of the original forest troll one and the orc female model works for that purpose (though of course she's flat, in line with sensibilities), they fit for the part and have effort put into them.

I imagine like Dalaran. I mean, the people who teleport you out in Dalaran are blood elves. It would make sense for them to enforce the same rules they had been enforcing in Dalaran.

We were told it will function like a Horde capital. So I don't know why you would imagine it would work like Dalaran.
Try flying over an enemy capital instead. Now imagine if this is a constant occurency because of game design. You are effectively baiting. It would be extremely easy to just grief Alliance players.

Ya this is the reasonable stance to take instead of pretending any quest with an alliance character is alliance bias but no matter how many quest you do with a horde character pushing horde victory’s doesn’t count as horde.

You're seriously committing to "Silvermoon is Horde favoritism" but giving the majority screentime to Turalyon, Arator & Alleria, three iconic Alliance characters is totally neutral? How do you sleep at night?

One thing is content restricted to one faction, the other is content available to both factions. So one side is buying a steak and finding a big chunk missing, the other side is buying a steak and finds out they don't like the way it tastes.

I posted another reply earlier, but i don't think that's what they meant by working like a horde capital. I think they meant this Silvermoon is not supposed to be just an expansion hub, but also the racial capital for BEs moving forward. So the neutral area of the city is like Dalaran, but the hostile areas are just a normal horde city, but i also don't think that means they'll make it easy to accidentally get flagged for PvP by random guards you didn't see.

Yes locking parts of a city right after we had two alliance city's fully open is Bias.

Your made up scenario where alliance characters get the majority of the screen time when atlest half the zones are about trolls/troll night elf missing link, is not real so not bias.

I guess. It doesn't explain the noses considering that's completely new. I don't know why you'd go with orcs instead of any other Azeroth race, including existing trolls & elves.

I'm thinking this is going to make any new players assume Orcs & trolls are biologically related.

Still doesn't negate that Alleria & her family are taking up the majority of the entire saga. Alleria is the clear throughline.

maybe then they should learn to communicate. Look, you may well be right. I still have an issue with that (Because for me, land area is a huge part of content and I don't think parity should be violated, at least not for current content, certainly not for the area where most players spend a significant chunk of their time online). But they certainly are not communicating this with any clarity and going by what they said (it is a Horde capital), my interpretation is the most direct and logical one, no? That it should NOT work this way because it would be even more disruptive doesn't change that this is what the words they used mean.

I certainly would, if i hadn't spent a lot of the last three expansions saving Night Elf Souls, take down Sylvanas, help reestablish a new Night Elf capital, help retake Gilneas, spend the vast majority of TWW with the former King of Dwarves, a current queen of the Dwarves, the leader of the Void Elves, and the King of the Alliance.

So now the Horde doesn't lose one of it's most beautiful capitals completely to the Alliance? Hardly an issue.

I like how you are equating one time story quests to something that will most likely impact the daily gameplay. Least disingenuous horde player award for sure.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree then. Even thought most of us recognize neither of those "trolls" are horde. And assuming the Amani do become an allied race how sure are you that'll be horde? Their primary beef is with Silvermoon.
