Just give Alliance players that flavour debuff the Horde gets in Bel'ameth. It doesn't even make sense narratively why the alliance would be KoS in a crisis where they're around to help, or why the Night Elves would be more tolerant than the Blood Elves ...

Well I guess that full solidifies its wildly disadvantageous to Alliance players. I guess I have to agree. F&9k those devs.

Bad news for anyone who was hoping Amani would be playable.

This is just an excuse to have Darkspear unlock beards. 100%. The troll guy on here will understand.

We already went over this. They said "perhaps" to Amani in the future. Which is better than the flat out no Ethereal bros are still dealing with.

For the record, one of the devs said no but another said they're interested to hear players thoughts after the conclusion of the story ...

Considering they are actually using it in an advertising piece, and not something said in the middle of a speech that obviously hasn't been going great, I have to assume there's a specific reason for it.

And we kind of know that Midnight doesn't really go according to plan.

So it's really what's pushing me to think "Faction War", especially after the Arathi Highlands.

If they gave Amani beards, but not Darkspear, people would throw a shitfit. Amani are likely still playable but they will share, or have very similar, hair and beard options as a nice little gimme to Darkspear.

I'm thinking we're not getting a sweeping customization pass but a few that are distinctly linked to Midnight- Belf and Velf swapping hair, Darkspear getting Amani beards, Velf maybe getting something from Voidstorm. If Drae get a patch there will be something for them, as well as Forsaken if Stratholme/Lordaeron is a patch.

Darkspear Trolls will unlock new cosmetic options, including Ammani hairstyles, upon completing the Zul'Aman campaign.

How can blizzard be so fucking tone deaf with their own playerbase, i dont want fucking amani hairstyles i WANT THE AMANI.

They didnt even mention getting their color skin LOL.

It pains me to no end how simple would be to make harranir alliance and amani horde, but they went their way to make the dumbest decision possible

I my earlier point still stands that we will never see another AR post release. So I didn't think forest trolls were in the cards since they decide to gift us with the hotly requested, and super lore-deep race of the Haranir.

They are not at launch going to confirm the Amani are ARs. Should they? Probably, but they are patch content, so nope. I still think it's because they are Horde only and the Alliance AR has not been revealed (Broken is most likely)

I don't know. The Arathi quest line felt like me an abandonment of the faction story. "Oh, look altruistic orc settlers who previously tried to murder you for your land" and now you're wrong for hating them.

The narrative they've set up from the Night Elf forgiveness garbage, to Gilneas forgiveness garbage they tried to abandon any sense of faction conflict but now they want to bring it back when it makes zero sense? A disastrous decision for them.

We won't see Naga anytime soon
That brings the naga architecture in that one short into question.

If it is not supposed to be naga architecture it could be placeholder for a kit that is still being worked on.

If the Naga have a heavy presence later down the line they can start setting them up again now, after they were missing from TWW.

Honestly it feels like they realized nobody really liked those things you just mentioned and are dialing it back.

The thing is, the same side had to eat that forgiveness thing half a dozen times in a row and they learn the lesson as soon as the shoe is on the other foot. The timing is bad. And it is also as I keep saying, the first time ever one side gets exclusive content without the other side getting something equal.

Yeah, how dare those devs do what the majority of the community wants. Also how is it disadvantageous? It makes worldbuilding sense. And they already said all the actual functions of a city hub is in the shared area. This demand to hang out in Silvermoon but only on Alliance characters is perverse.
