Why wouldn't they be faction locked? Interior customization is fine, but there's no reason for there to be an orcish hut in Elwynn. I can understand the desire for a Blood Elf tower, but at that rate you'll probably get Void Elf architecture at some point soon for Alliance.

I wonder how much Liadrin owes her main character billing in Midnight to her popularity over in Hearthstone. Their devs must either love that character owe her money, for the amount of skins and content they've given her.

Her entire popularity stems from being the cool girl elf paladin Horde-side. Even before HS she has appeared more than most of the ostensible Blood Elf leadership despite her having no discernable personality outside of liking Jesus. The HS short vs. the LK just intensified this.

Also, as predicted, the catastrophism over the sectioned off area turned out to be completely unnecessary.

i think no class AND no race is a bad sign. Sure, Haranir look like to have a lot of customization. But let's be honest, if instead of Haranir they would have said Ethereals, or Forest Trolls the community would have exploded (positively), or (at lest for me), making (the player option) blood elves and void elves fully neutral like earthen,pandaren,dracthyr.

little of the actual new stuff is really hype. For me, the lack of new hero talents is a bad sign too.

Liadrin also had the dishonorable mention of holding the worst Voice Acting in SWP until next xpac with that red dragon who got stuck in a tree (but she also got beat by a blue dragon in Legion during Tyr's hand artifact acquisition).

And ffs, hero talents were always intended to be handled like this. I told you guys since TWW alpha that they will add a few new points, it's meant to be evergreen and no, extra hero talents would have been a tuning NIGHTMARE and also basically make people abandon either the old hero talents, or just pointless anyways.

I think it depends on how big the city is. For all we know half of the 2/3rds the Alliance is getting could be just empty space.

It is genuinely fucking awful, but I'd give an honorable mention to Kalec and Anveena since they actually eat up time in the raid (not so much now since it's piss-easy) whereas you can HS to a different country while Liadrin's going on her spiel.

I "enjoy" questing with Alliance charcters since Legion, this is not something that can scare me. Just a bit of sadness.
Exodar will be full Alliance ofc, when their patch will come, same thing with other places. But Silvermoon forever be neutral.

From the looks of the screenshots, the city has little to no empty space whatsoever.

The problem with the restriction was about traversability and narrative, not spreading important vendors as far and wide as possible.

I think we should not counting all 3 expansions as separate things. TWW was a start, MN is continuation, TLT finish. So every Allied race added, every class or spec are WSS race, class or spec. At least devs clearly not dividing them.

i'm not sure that will hold up. Players have expectations. And once is a fluke, twice is a pattern, and if the pattern will stay as we see with TWW and MID... i think people might be dissatisfied. I certainly am. And i'm one of the people that liked things like WoD, BfA and SL for the most part, despite their flaws. Never felt so conflicted about an expansion as currently it is with MID, even though, MID could have been an EASY homerun on so many fronts.

Nah its definitely new, Twilight's hammer is too old to have assets in that style, and their colors were pretty different and the tents weren't as closed off.

I meant NEW twilight hammer assets, since they're involved this expansion! But you're right, it's not their style, so this is definitely void-elf related! Pretty sweet

The way it was presented made me think it's something that would REALLY be confused why they were there. Maybe an Ogre?

If Exodar is used as part of an expansion questing area, I think it will have a significant Horde hub. You just cannot avoid that even if it is bad for immersion; if it has to be used for questing, most of it got to be neutral. That said, I am unsure any Alliance city is in such a location that it could get an expansion where it would be the sole capital unless they do something with Khaz Modan.
And Silvermoon is completely decked with Horde symbols and banners, will have no Alliance NPCs outside maybe the Sanctum of Light and once the xpansion is over at most you'll see a gnome or two questing there and you have everyone's permission to punt them.
