You know how many insane people play this game? Ever read the official forums? Wowhead comments? Even on this site, people say absolutely bat shit things under frontpage news items. The fact Asmongold even has an audience is proof there's no shortage of people with some serious problems

Few days ago I said mid September - kinda more or less length of TWW Alpha, but from start to Christmas, cause I don't think January will be really productive for testing. Then Ion said to expect it in few weeks, so it fits.

They're not really set up for that. They require a locked camera position and angle and changing the character framing will break the perspective.

To be fair blood elves indeed lack faces. They are all the same, with minor details. Both females and males.
That doesn't mean that for example troll females don't have only 1 decent face at all. Same thing with Orcs both sexes.
I wish they focus on 1 race at the time each patch do add like 5 new faces, 5 skin tones (where it is reasonable), 10 hairstyles and various accessories, tattoos and scars. For Midnight it will be Blood Elves and by extension Void ones, let them share.
Next patch about Orcs? (haha, that was a funny joke btw) - let give them some eyebrows and normal beards, faces and hairstyles.
Patch with playable Amani? Darkspear got their present. And so on and on.

They just don't do anything to them. New tree, new specs, new receipts. Nothing major. As usual.

Also - there will be new ore and new herbs?

Wish they introduce old ones (classic) anew. Imagine digging Tin, copper and iron again. Or peacebloom and silverleaf. Just add reagent that gathered in Quel'thalas in same nodes that transform classic reagents into MN reagents. Like Copper Ore in Quel'Thalas gathered with Sundust, that can be reforged into Suncopper to forge MN receipts. Or herbs with Sun-infused pollen. Yes, you can gather classic ore in Dun Morough or Teldrassil, but Sundust and Sun-infused pollen will be required so they will be true gathering reagents.

Same thing can be done with revamp of Exodar/Stormwind/Orgrimmar/Mulgore. Add expansion reagents to loot, using old classic reagents from that zones.
Revamped Khaz Modan with top tier Mithril crafted items sounds really good.

On reveal day they said somewhere professions will be simplified. Hard to tell if they mean talents or profession stats.

I think they said in an interview, they are going to look at simplifying them, they agree they've made them too complex. Probably gonna end up somewhere between old school and what we now have, unclear in what sense.

Why not just take BS and Engineering and buy the ore?

All giving everyone every gathering profession does is further reduce their value both financially and conceptually.

I’ve heard it suggested before and agree that the current secondary professions should be account wide. I rarely level the secondaries on alts but feel like I should be able to hop onto any alt to fish or cook without having to switch to the toon that has it maxed out.

I don't know the context, but from the sound of it there is a 80% chance that "what sword" tier joke.

There is so much room between fully account-wide professions and current backward system:

1. Account wide cooking/fishing/archeology.
2. Account wide gathering.
3. Warband recipes collection.

Sadly they haven't moved an inch. What is more funny, with current system if someone want to become one man army, literally nothing stops him, all crafters can just sits in town on level 70 and do only crafting. Not only that, meta for some professions is to make army of alts and utilize concentration.

So smart account-wide profession system would REDUCE your ability to be one man army and force you to cooperate with people who invested their knowledge points in other trees.
