Arathi and Darkshore are warfronts first and foremost. Glorified scenarios. They have virtually no story or meaningful interaction outside of the warfronts other than some rare mobs and a sprinkle of world quests. Its a completely asinine comparison to what they are doing to update the TBC Quel'thalas zones.

Go to any Classic zone with banshees in them. Look at their ears. The default Banshee model has human ears.
edit: I was actually wrong. It's not just Classic zones. The banshees in WotLK and Legion also have human ears including named characters like Naisha.

The absolute state of Warcraft lore in 2021:
Kyrians: We need to keep chucking people into the Maw because it's our job.
Also Kyrians: Why is the Maw growing stronger despite all our efforts?
Dickmann's Law: As a discussion on the Lore forums becomes longer, the probability of the topic derailing to become about Sylvanas approaches 1.
Tinkers will be the next Class confirmed.

Still waiting for Taliesin to upload his housing interview video
The golden goose is in whether the war bear achievement is updated or if you have to use Zidormi. If it is, we're looking at the scenario wherein Alliance raid groups gather next to the sanctum where the local, domesticated Bob is sitting around with Turalyon and company and then rev up their cars to go to the Horde section and kill the foreign, wild Bob. The crime done, they'd flee to the sanctuary area to resume doing laps around the sanctum.

Originally Teldrassil was created with the intention of the Night Elves getting their immortality back, and that didn't happen. It didn't happen with Amirdrassil either. At this point they're both just really big trees. But at least Teldrassil is much closer to their actual home, Kalimdor.

Yeah. It was actually a plateau of dirt and rock reminiscent of an old Sims city game where you use the terrain raise tool in the same spot until you reach height limit. Then they plopped trees on top, colored the ground texture to look like bark and added random branch objects sticking out. It didnt look like a tree, it didnt look like a Baobob tree as some people try to explain it as. It was an ugly abomination of mid-2000s world building tech.

Funny how placement change everything. If Dragon Isles would be placed west of Kalimdor and Amirdrassil planted on exact same spot as Teldrassil, not only it would shut up this "bring back Nelf capital" discussion but also make DF ending more meaningful (or rather closer to what Danuser probably wanted to achieve).

It would be cool if for 12.1, a raid was some kind of collection of angry spirits in Teldrassil's ruins, tied to the Harandar story and was flyable from Darkshore and a new Azuremyst.
I can't see the megadungeon (I think this expac will have one) being anything but Stratholme or possibly Scholomance. I think the Arator questline will make it very obvious which we will go to.
I'm still hoping Darkhan is a surprise villain they chose not to spoil.
