I really want to like them. The concept is great, but it really feels like there were a lot of corners cut. "Take pictures of animal X, throw balls for baby animal y, take pictures of animal z"

I like the concept, but the execution is lacking.

Also give me all the quests together, not one at a time. And why are the weekly repeatable quests not world quests, just so you don't have to do voice acting for them? Why do quests in WoW still not have voice acting at that . . .

They are more tolerable than that disgusting rat crystal quest in Tazavesh.

Whoever designed that should be quartered and thrown of a cliff.

And i don't get why people are so obsessed with VA. I mostly just find the constant drone from WQs annoying, and every always talks far to slow for my liking.

We'll likely see more zones reworked in the future. There are a lot of classic zones that the team wants to tell stories in.
My bet is on Silithus. What do you guys think?

Yeah, for diablo I had to silence them cause the voiceacting was slower than me reading it haha.

What in Silithus might be relevant to this saga?

Silithus at the very least. I'm excited to see what a redone SIlithus looks like.

I wonder what the size will look like when tackling zones that are already on the main map. I can't help but imagine they'll be combining some zones as they've done with Eversong, Quel'danas and the Ghostlands.

Uldum and Ungoro would make sense I guess?

I really don't like when you have to wait for the VA to finish. Yeah, yeah, i've read the whole thing thrice already, let me get on with things.

I am not so sure about more zones getting reworked. They had the perfect opportunity to improve EPL visually for Midnight and I am fairly certain they did not do that. If they had, they'd given us some preview, a screenshot or two. They probably only did the transition areas that were poorly textured flat terrain behind invisible walls. Also, if they had done a visual revamp in EPL there would probably be a dungeon or delve there.
And I don't know that they will redo Silithus either. They can just deal with the sword in a cinematic.

True, but It makes sense if they plan on doing the zone updates at patch content zones, ala the Pandaria Zones in 8.3 - It's the most boring way to do it, but it makes the most sense.Got 'em.

I'm confused about what you're saying, I might be misunderstanding; they had said in an interview just the other day that their plan is to continue to revamp old zones.

Well, let's hope that change won't make zones smaller...

Sure, but I think they will only do it if the old zone can fully take the place of a new zone for content. We are getting revamped old zones if those old zones can take the place of 1 out of 4 expac zones or a patch zone for a new season, not just to provide revamps. As I said, we do not seem to be getting an EPL revamp. And the sword could just be something that happens in a cinematic (Sargeras just pulls it out to cut Aman'thul in half). Though they could do it as a patch zone together with Ahn'qiraj I guess.

Cata flying revamp was obviously pressed for time and large parts of the map remained empty even after being reworked. I think this time around those areas would get used instead (and perhaps half of EK and Kalimdor zones would not be cliffsw but more gradual to the coast). Plus if they are combining zones, they can get rid of terrains that is only there to create a zone border; if Searing Gorge and Burning Steppes are combines, there is no reason for there to be a cliff between them.

Oh-- yeah, I sort of was under the belief that was always going to be the case. Their quote was specifically referencing new stories to tell in old zones as a condiiton of a remake, so we won't see an EPL revamp unless there's a story to tell in an EPL revamp, which could very well be 12.1. If it's not, then we probably won't see it for a while.

I am fairly certain there is something about EPL that they haven't told us. Ghostlands is healed and Deatholme is void, not Scourge, and Arator takes us to Lordaeron for a trip- but its not healed?

I can see it being a surprise pre-patch thing OR Arator's trip is to very small areas of Lordaeron (the inside of the church, Capital City ruins, new south side of Stratholme) and EPL is updated in a patch. It just doesn't make sense for Ghostlands to be healed and put onto the map while EPL isn't healed, especially if there's less scourge which seems to be the implication.

EPL cleaned up with a Stratholme and/or Scarlet Dawn themed dungeon or raid would make perfect sense as patch content.

It could literally be any in between patch or a big patch even if thet want to tell Arators story about hes parents as it could be part of the main campaign. Its not like if 12.1 is over we wont ever see it in midnight. Could just be 12.2 or 12.2.5 or what ever.

It doesn't make sense if it is cleaned up to NOT show it. And if it was planned to be shown revamped as a patch zone, it makes little sense to have the Arator quests before the revamp in the vanilla version. They could have just saved those quests for the patch.
