Yeah the difference is ESO is ostensibly made with that Cash Shop in mind. You get Tender Equivalant every month, and its tradable to others should you so desire to do that. It doesn't sell races that werent included as part of a box already (So a F2P Player could pick a specific race instead of buying the entire Xpac it was in).

All this to say....that string is 50000000000% related to the Furniture Catalog Racial Furniture Category and the fact that this has even been up for discussion for multiple pages really is sad.

I love WoW but if they ever add races to the shop I would erase my account and I doubt that I would ever buy a Blizzard game again.

I'm aware that it would change nothing and that it would be a financial success for Blizzard, but I wouldn't feel motivated to support that kind of game and there is no doubt that if they ever do that, the shop would only become worse and worse.

For example, it might be a little detail, but a very worrying one IMO, that the Midnight boost gives you max renown with all TWW's reputations except with the Flame Radiance and the K'areshi one. Especially since it's so easy to max out these reps.

    I hope not.

I know that it does max out the Undermine Cartels, though.

P.S. Reddit says that no Darkfuse rep boost.

It is retail content, tho. Remix' lore is linked to and is part of main Warcraft lore (the Infinites are studying key points of Azeroth's history) and while the mode itself is temporary, the rewards you get are permanent within retail WoW, to the point your Remix characters are created within the regular retail servers, AND transferred to retail WoW upon event expiration.

The level 70 boost that came with TWW wasn't too different; it gave you max renown with Dragonflight's launch factions and 12 with Niffen. If anything it was more useful then because Renown wasn't shared, and you could get it to get an alt's rep up; in the current game only returning players really get anything from it.

It makes sense and doesn't seem too outlandish to me given the context. It's primarily an offer for potential returning players who get pulled back for an expansion reveal- preorder the upcoming expansion, and get a character caught up and instantly ready to start the current patch's content. They don't give you anything difficult to earn- and it puts you just above K'aresh questing gear- it's just a hook to show you that you can just jump back in immediately instead of waiting for the expansion to put everyone back on the same level.

IMO it's a mistake. Not only because it's not fair to those players that were actually paying a subscription to play your game and took the time to raise those renows, but mostly because you're sending a very shitty message to your players. Don't bother to play the game because in the end we'll give you stuff anyway.

Instead, just introduce the rep boost event again. Those are actually positive IMO. It makes the community come together. You see lots of farming groups. You might even chat with those while you farm ¡¡ They're silly but fun. Rewards both new and old players alike.

The delve was hated because it had oxygen mechanic.
Vashj'ir was not hated, it was not understood because of dimensions. Now it's more common to not find quest on the first flythrough because the quest could be in cave, one level below and etc. And Vashj'ir was BEAUTIFUL. People were requesting Naga themed expansion after TBC. (It's most speculated after the Pandaren) How do you imagine Naga expansion with no underwater zones?

Ehm wow, they must have hotfixed that already. I literally used my boost after reading it and I'm not exalted with the goblin fuckers ...

Vashj'ir got a fair amount of negative attention, specifically due to people not understanding the range of things. Wasn't everyone and it did have a fanbase, but there was enough negative attention at how Vashj'ir worked that it was pretty clear the reason Nazjatar was drained was specifically due to Vashj'ir

I wonder what it would be like if "Classic+" was announced at BlizzCon as an alternate timeline. Branching off from the old one around when Xal'atath was meddling with the light crystal in SoD.

Maybe our timeline was the offshoot. An experiment by the Void to explore all possible futures.

Or maybe the C+ version is a way to go back and save the timelines. A desperate way to restore Azeroth after the damage caused from TBC -> TLT.

Imagine having an Azeroth without all the cosmic mumbo jumbo.

    I come with ill-tidings.

I just woke up from a terrible dream in which I dreamt of the Midnight pre-patch. In it, the prepatch was akin to the event where Deathwing flies all over the world, showing up on the map and killing everything in its path, but this time it was a void creature. The patch introduced two unannounced playable races: Lightforged Ethereal and Voidforged Ethereal. Both neutral. For some reason they could both be druids, but with a Void or Light theme over it. The invasion event mainly happened in Uldum, which was overrun with Void creatures. Dream didn't say why, but it had something to do with the Nya'lotha Black Empire invasions of the past

Just the absolute worst. I hate my own prophecy.

Can you explain why? I never understood the concern. It is problematic for targeting reticle spells I suppose but everything is sadly.

I dreamt Alpha-datamining started. It was a flurry of all kinds of information; Too much to process.

    Then I woke up.

Fortunately got enough other things to keep me occupied, but I'm really curious when/what we're going to see.

In other news, is the artifact / infinite trait in Legion remix warbound or charbound? Anyone knows who have played the PTR?

They will prolly do a big preview post with all Apex talents first yeah, similiar to hero talents. Don't think we will get anything more as they won't do big reworks for all classes like with Dragonflight.

Look back, it's just for the preview buttons. So even less of a concern.
