The RNG on the placement of the adds is quite annoying, but it's otherwise a good fight! It's taking some getting used to and playing around with settings, since the fight itself is quite unclear and visually chaotic at times.
I do think I prefer Zekvir ?? over Ky'veza and Underpin ??. Underpin can fuck all the way off.

I do think Kyveza is a better fight than Zekvir because Zekvirs enjoyment was entirely based on what class you played. Some classes just really struggled with proper egg damage, and some classes were reliant on Brann to interupt which obviously is a nightmare. I played Mage in S1 and honestly, the fact that I could just dispell the Spittle made the fight a cakewalk.
Kyvezas only issue is that the line spawns can be annoying to the point where if you play a slow class, it's nigh impossible, but other than that, it's literally just rinse and repeat for 10 minutes.

They are asleep in their regeneration pods, we know that they dream while inside them. For me, it made sense that they'd appear in the Emerald Dream while asleep.
That just makes them more like the Greek or Norse pantheons, though I suppose that niche had been filled by the Titan Keepers up until that point. It felt very much like a "never meet your heroes" situation. Personally I was cool with it. Why should the living "gods" of the Warcraft universe be any less fallible than the gods of our own?
I suppose Shadowlands really did do a lot of over and under explaining. It's tricky to keep the right balance. If too much is over explained the mystery is gone, and the universe seems that much more mundane. Under explain and players are filling in the blanks themselves, setting the players up to create their own head canon that does not align with the story the devs are trying to tell. The Drust/Kul'Tiran situation is a great example of the latter.
something i just thought about browsing through reddit and someone asking what the story of TTW was about
But, is TWW actually the first expansion in which we lose? sure, Dimensius is defeated, but the expansion started with us chasing Xal'atath and the she was the main plot of the expansion. But she got the power of Dimensius and got away with it.
Is this the closest thing we have with the bad guy winning?

On an expansion level, yes. And they made it less goofy than Arthas' "you won but actually you lose because that was all according to keikaku".
Not really surprising though, without the trilogy format that would just leave us with a weird conclusion. TWW is only one act of the story, so a definite win or lose was never an option to begin with.
while i wrote the above, i also thought, well, in Legion Sargeras stabbed the planet, and if BfA Sylvanas got away. But neither of them got what they actually wanted. In TWW, Xal did got what she wanted and she only had a minor setback, while the other two were completely foiled in their plans.

Sargeras was more of a last-ditch FU, but we still achieved our goals while he didn't really get anything (and the stabbing didn't really achieve much anyway). BfA wasn't about preventing Sylvanas from running away, but about saving Azeroth and resolving the 4th war, which we both achieved.
So yeah, they can't really be seen as winning anything, while Xal got pretty much everything she wanted, power, revenge on Dimensius, hundreds of offers to become a foot model...

By the way, this mount is NOT rewarded from finishing Ecological Succession.

Either the patch legitimately got scrapped or something fishy is going on. Quite a few things in this patch that are in the journal but currently have no way of being obtained.

They are never going to make the purple version of earthen npc armor available for players aren't they?

Not the ones related to the Oasis. Ecological Stability is bugged it would seem, and Ecological Variety is unobtainable seeing as no Snake dailies turned up on Saturday (at least in the EU).
Besides that though, I wouldnt rule out a last quest from Ve'nari on reset that just gives the mount.
The world revamp dream will never die!

That one voiceline is the only thing really missing thus far. And it's short and not even that telling.
I bet the in-game trigger (having defeated Dimensius and being near Ve'nari) just doesn't work. You go talk to her and Alleria, after the raid, and I think that's the moment it should trigger in-game.

Wait until y'all realize we've more than likely already met the First Ones...
