Tbh I would have been hyped if we got a herioc world tier feature but they probably wanna wait and see how it's received in lemix first but I would actually love a whole phase diving type of toggle that allows you to set it based on delve tier and get the same rewards in your vault as you'd get from an equivalent delve for world events and getting your once a week reward to scale up to that level
Would help avoid burn out with delves especially if they're keeping the bountiful system where unless you play every day you can end up doing the same delves a lot based on RNG of what's bountiful which feels bad imo
Do you not expect them to display more grounded acknowledgement for what their product brings that is valuable? If the earthens are not a real asset, then don't showcase them as one and stay focused on what they are. Stating that they're so cool when nothing they're showing matches those words is pretty sad and devalues their product.
I feel like there are cliques of players in this game that refuse to believe that people play it for any other reason than the one they play it for
Am I tripping or did they not say anything about new artifact appearances or color variations of legion artifacts? I saw mountains of mounts and transmogs , but no new artifact appearances, which seems like a weird missed opportunity lol

"Expect" was the wrong choice of word I agree, "Would rather" is a better fit. But the end result remains that their current behaviour devalues their product and transparency on what to expect by acting the way you've described. And then anytime they try to promote or hype anything, you're better ignoring it or tuning down heavily any expectations.

I'm remaining cautious on expectations on how this feature can play out in the competitive environment that is WoW where time spent is valuable. Which is alwyas a huge burden at every season release, and which I always associate to why we've lost improvements on pet battle and archaeology for instance.

Why are you comparing Pet Battle and Archaeology, things no one really asked for, really, to Housing, literally the most requested feature since release.
Housing is not some nebulous thing, it's a huge success in every single MMO it comes out in. People play Sims and Animal Crossing simply to do exactly what they are adding in WoW.
This forum is so out of touch with what the playerbase wants.
True, and to add to your marketing argument, Blizzard already have a snarky dark magic wielding elf-adjacent character with sex appeal and that's Xal. Azshara would double up on it. I don't see her taking a major spot until Xal is gone. Hell, as @Nymrohd said, Azshara backstabbing her as a callback to the dagger swaps in Ny'alotha is a possible route. What I'm getting at is that her connection to this plot and her jumping off from it, ditto with the naga is foreshadowed and coherent and I fully expect it to be further developed in Midnight indirectly.
Her being the centrepiece in a future approach, crossing over with Denathrius and some version of the Legion would be much appreciated, but whatever her role, it'll keep being seeded here.
