Yeah I keep trying to imagine of a horror from Berserk or Claymore made entirely out of feet when I think of Xalatoes' true form

Claymore would be a good go-to if they want to keep them marketable but also up the actual horror factor, even something like Rosemary, a fairly generic design where the elf body just hangs around as a center-piece while H.R. Giger paraphernalia erupts from everywhere else.

Can they even show breasts though? Cause you know Eldritch Xal'atath in Claymore style would have big naturals. I was imagining something like Ophelia but instead of a serpent like tail, a centipede with hundreds of elven feet with talon-like nails.

They can give her a bra or put some chitin over it, lest the thirty-somethings that comprise 90% of us playing the game see some tits and are radicalized.

That would be a good call, though again, you have the boob issue. Something close to Riful could work to have her both mutate, not step on any rakes censorship-wise and not repeat what's been done with the Old Gods, her body unraveling into tendrils of something like the void glass we see in K'aresh.

Some are feet, some are hands, all have the same texture Miura used for his trolls though the elf face definitely reminds me more of Yagi.

I fed some of the Xal'atath key art as a reference with what we've talked about and the descriptions. Overall hopeless, here are some of the less bad ones it coughed up.

I mean they don't look anything like what we've talked about But they are interesting concepts. I do hope she has a monster form. And as you suggested, a monster form that still keeps current xal'atath as a feature would work.

Yes, it absolutely failed to understand what was meant. Its bias towards making hot elves prevails if not told explicitly to do otherwise, and when told to do otherwise it ditches the elf entirely. The beatings must continue until bot comprehension improves.

That's what I wanted it to do, but it couldn't do it properly, the ones I kept are the only ones where that was at least barely present.

Why are you comparing Pet Battle and Archaeology, things no one really asked for, really, to Housing, literally the most requested feature since release.

Housing is not some nebulous thing, it's a huge success in every single MMO it comes out in. People play Sims and Animal Crossing simply to do exactly what they are adding in WoW.

This forum is so out of touch with what the playerbase wants.

That's why we were lumping TWW & Midnight together in amount of content. To be honest TWW is a nice waiting room, but we didn't think the waiting room would lead into a second waiting room. I'm guessing there's going to be a third waiting room after that. Maybe we get something cool in 14.0

It is really difficult to take you seriously when you talk about a feature like Housing. Much less when that feature is shaping up to have been done about as good as it could have been.

This isn't Garrisons or similar. This is an actual tentpole feature that will define future content in a similar way Transmog has done since the inclusion of cosmetic sets back in WoD.

Man, 99% of the playerbase only does M+ all day anyway. I still don't know what content people actually want, because every time someone moans about it, they can never actually say what they should add that isn't just "Here's an item you can equip!".

People in this thread don't want features to play them, but to get hyped about them, nothing else.

And that's different from housing how? Them adding an assortment of furniture every patch is supposed to be a tentpole feature but doing the same for actual wearable gear isn't? Is that supposed to be exciting or not?

We literally have delves, Prey, four different events smaller events, M+ and Raids.

Once again: No one can tell me what content they want in the game. They can just throw around weird buzzwords, but when push comes to shoves, it's always just these things that seem hype but add nothing to gameplay.

I've also noticed the bitching about "make the old world relevant again" has stopped now that we know that housing is going to add relevance to all the old crafting materials to make new housing recipes so there's incentive to go out and gather all the old stuff and do the old content for housing stuff if you haven't yet

About the Arathi's role in the rest of the Saga- I was catching up on TWW's meta achievements and something from one of the lore books- a detail that the Arathi Loremaster asks about, at that- got me thinking.

The Hallowfall Expedition was the Third Fleet of the Arathi Navy, so there are at least two more fleets out there. And while they could well have remained in the homeland, none of the lore I can find rules out the possibility that more of them may have been sent out, or could still be sent out in the future. Maybe there was more to the Emperor's vision and he sent multiple expeditions to different places to investigate different parts of it, or another vision could get him to send reinforcements.

I still doubt we'd be visiting the Empire proper for a while, but I could definitely see us encountering another one of their fleets. Maybe a more zealous and hostile one (like Faerin said the homeland would be) that didn't have to adapt to fighting Nerubians and dealing with Beledar's dark phases for a decade. Maybe that'll be our enemies for 12.1, as the "too much Light can be bad too" threat, before we return to the final fight with the Void for 12.2.

Lots of people swear we won't see them. I think it'd be horrifically bad writing to set up a prophetic super zealot Empire who's whole existence is to fight in the final battle against the Void and then just have them give up after one failed expedition.
