Happy to see more stuff in the store, maybe they release other tints of the sets later for more money. Would've liked this set in the same colors as the Headless Horseman set. I really really like the Spiritbringer set though very much a excellent choice.

I don't think you realize just how massive WoW used to be back in the day. We had Ozzy Osbourne, Mr T and van Damme doing WoW commercials. We had TV shows and celebrities talking about WoW, with many of them even playing it. WoW was THE game back then

You're partially right, younger generations might not know who these characters are, but those of us that grew up with Warcraft/Starcraft, Diablo 1/2 and WoW remember how massive these games were. Cultural phenomenons, truly. WoW made MMOs mainstream, Warcraft/Starcraft were not only very solid RTS games, but the custom game modes in AoS and DOTA basically gave birth to the MOBA genre, and Diablo redefined and popularized ARPGs to the point where now every other ARPG is inspired by it

There was this thing called word of mouth that is now sorely missing for Blizzard games. But this wasn't always the case

Celebrities are doing this now with Fortnite. They move on to whatever game is popular at the time. Its what they do, culture vultures.

Part of me misses when store stuff had more hints for future content because I'd love to speculate what the spirit healer stuff would mean for Midnight.... but chances are the set exists just to exist.

Both chest pieces are nice and pretty unique, and the Valkyrie-looking helmet is cool, as well as the staff. The rest is just all right imo. I find it pretty difficult to get too excited about sets that lack any real context. I get the Spirit Healer connection but that's such an abstract Shadowlandsy thing. How do we get a hold of these items? Why?

I think that's pretty good for cash shop items, would you rather stuff like the ethereal armor to be in the cash shop and this to have been in game?

It's a cool set that would be hard to have a place besides shop/trading post and while I'd prefer it in the trading post I understand why it's not there (greed) but also with the way wow tokens work I'm not too upset by it at the end of the day, mmos cost a lot of money and id much prefer cosmetics as mtx than anything else

It definitely could have been, but in thinking about it, considering the sheer number of these cosmetic sets it could have been well over a year before we get to it. Not to mention old ones like the Blood Troll ones that some players are still waiting for.

Could arguably have been part of Hallows End. But we already have two variants of the Banshee set that is currently unavailable and could probably drop from that.

I mean it's cool but you can get that aesthetic by grabbing some kyrian gear. Plenty of the weapons are good looking though.

Oh my god we don't need a lore reason for shop cosmetics. People are really just making up reasons to get annoyed about stuff.
99% of the descriptions for shop mounts is "Oh, yeah, I guess it lives in this random place ig"

Wow isn't at Diablo 4's point quite yet...but for me and other people that killed all enjoyment of the game. The paid transmogs are leaps & bounds better than anything you can get in the game normally. At that point why even play.

Might be late to the party - but I realized that the Dracthyr Commandos from the Evoker tier set sometimes used the cut barber shop shoulderpads.


And from the original Dracthyr preview. It's seen on the red Dracthyr to the far left.


Wish they'd give it to us. It is one of the only good looking shoulderpads from the preview (imo)
