You are missing the point. They do not want a "bigger house" they want that plot/house as is even if it means less yard space.

Ya, quite the jump in use compared to only combat rogues and both prots.

Unless they let rogue daggers be mogged into 1h swords, I wonder which class/spec would better fulfill either NE sentinel, warden, or Night Warrior Tyrande. I think it's better to go with demon hunter as you can get a cool mix of that fantasy mixed with Illidan.

They did it via a choice node with Elemental's EQ and I was just like "ok but flamestrike???"

Gonna make aoe combustion so much smoother. The awkward af hotkey>click was getting annoying and I was definitely not getting in 1 or 2 flamestrikes compared to Pyros due to the time to target and click, not to mention the janky times when it doesn't register the click ._.

It's definitely a choice they made to normalize exterior decoration space between all the plots. You can identify every empty plot from a distance by the blank patches of flat land cleared for them. I imagine the hope is that players use their exterior decorating to make those spaces less jarringly empty compared to the rest of the populated areas.

You can do some of but not all of this. I agree decoration will remove the emptiness, but emptiness isn't really a concern I'm trying to voice. Even with the standardized sizes, there's a lot of places where houses could go and instead they've set them back quite a ways from most things. Which means that, for example (as what started the discussion), you can't actually make an urban, or really even a suburban house, only one that looks over those sorts of areas or things. You can't make a house "on" a road, only at plots where the road ends and then transitions into your more isolated property.

Which is unfortunate. They described the options initially as players being able to choose between more busy areas and more medium areas, and then more isolated areas, but, for the Elwynn neighborhood at least, there's only really medium or some level of isolated.

Even adhering to the uniform plot size, there's no reason they could have put a few plots on the outskirts of the town area (1, 2) but instead the closest ones are way off down the road (3):

The same reason that people buy a townhouse or a two story in a neighborhood instead of a cabin on 200 acres of isolated woodland or farmhouse on a rural ranch. "More plot space" doesn't mean anything unless what you want out of housing is specifically a large yard to put plants and outdoor stuff in.

I'd say it's quite the opposite this time tbh. They've removed what was nuance in Vanilla and just kind of threw "people are becoming dickheads because Light or Void said so" which is just lame.

Dh would need the option to not use blindfolds / night warrior eyes though. Last time I checked you could play without horns, but not without the blindfold.
