Ehhh, at best, they should do it to where the Light (or the Shadow) wants to claim Azeroth by weakening the Worldcore, and thus we go to Azeroth's celestial bodies to prevent their link to the Worldcore from being destroyed.

Cause I like the idea the Worldcore's defenses are kept up by the 2 Moons and the Sun.

The sunwell not being permanently darkened into a font of void energy is a terrible mistake. It was such a tailor-made reason for the three Thalassian elf groups to actually come back together.

I think there is a minute chance that the scenario actually reveals that it CAN'T be healed, and Xal effectively wins by corrupting it enough. Leading to the patch stories.

    We can only hope.

Hand me your supply of Anasterian's rare Thalassian fermented copium, I need it to believe this expansion will actually maintain any kind of narrative tension instead of just petering out like Legion.
Dickmann's Law: As a discussion on the Lore forums becomes longer, the probability of the topic derailing to become about Sylvanas approaches 1.

Tinkers will be the next Class confirmed.

I mean otherwise this expansion is effectively Legion but on crack cocaine- going to Argus 2 at launch, and then Suramar 2 to wrap everything up in a single campaign.

If the Darkwell can't be healed, it makes sense to go to Velen/Draenei stuff or deal with Vol'jin. Otherwise who cares?

I do need to backtrack, Legion lost all tension immediately after the intro as the biggest Legion invasion was mostly relegated to pockets of the existing zones. Here it at least lasts up until the end of the first patch for the conflict to be resolved and the villain to fuck off.

    1st tier raid bosses:

    Voidspire (6 bosses)
    Imperator Averzian
    Lightblinded Vanguard
    Vorsius
    Vaelgor & Ezzorak
    Crown of the Cosmos
    Fallen King Salhadaar

    Dreamrift (1 boss)
    Chimaerus, The Undreamt God

    March on Quel'Danas (2 bosses)
    Belo'ren (A void corrupted Phoenix)
Midnight Falls - Would appear to be some sort of lengthy event in relation to the story.

Maybe we end up needing the Void's power to stop the Light from overreaching. Restoring the balance kind of thing,

Salhadaar as a boss again is certainly a choice.

I do hope Midnight Falls is an actual event boss though. I know players tend to dislike them. But I appreciate a boss that really makes it feel like you are holding off an army.

It's a nice callback to how Anduin was the one to explain to our undead characters that ugly people aren't always evil. I'm happy to see they're keeping things consistent.

Then you don't name the questline some variation of "A New Dawn"

That's a very vague name and you know it. The reveal could be a Dawnwell that shifts between Light and Void, causing problems.

Don't see why not. A New Dawn (without the Sunwell) is a erfectly reasonable read on what happens.

Much like other similar malignant growths, the narrative spontaneously produces fresh Anduins when the earlier ones are in remission. Arator is the current object in need of chemo, who knows who we'll get for TLT.

If this course were taken, it would be pretty out-of-character. It was Alleria who was calling for total orc death originally.

I'm going to guess the major patches are Draenei and Forsaken/Sylvanas related. Forsaken feels a little more likely considering the Forsaken Loyalist group in the Windrunner dungeon and the proximity to Quel'thalas/Lordaeron being a focus in the Arator questline. Draenei makes sense as the other TBC island in limbo and Naaru. But not seeing much about the Draes at all in the files save for the nemesis boss and all the Lightforged.

What happened to Anduin anyways? Seemed so important, and then he just disappeared off of the face of Azeroth after 11.0.
