No clue, but historically it does go hand in hand with new phases.

Technically, Evokers don't use any weaponry besides the staff from Vault and Naz'suro, which they still don't attack with. All their magic comes out of them.

Polearm guys can be represented by warriors and hunters which were unlocked (far too) later.

I mean this argument can be used for mages too. I don't think it's useful as an argument to deprive players of something very visible in the marketing for a class.

In hindsight I am still just surprised they didnt let them use Warglaives. Glaives have been a constant with drakonids, which Dracthyr are closely related to. And it would have made Warglaives more useful.

Not all Dracthyr are Evokers, so there is the very obvious and boring explanation that they were regular warriors.

That doesn't work though because neltharions soldiers specifically were evokers because he invented them, and then shows them all with polearms.

Ironically, it seems 11.2.7 has more High Elves than 12.0. Arator hanging with Vereesa in the prequel but not the leveling campaign is an interesting choice.

Our mystery green goo Amani island is called "The Isle of Fangs". At the moment, it's enveloped in mist, sends you back after a short bit of time in mists. (via SoulSoBreezy alpha stream).

What leaked screenshots? You mean the Amani Mountain? It's not really a leak.... people in the alpha are just.... going over there & looking at it. It's visible on the minimap & everything.
