I think they main issue with shadowdropping new specs/classes for WoW is the same as with testing or not testing raid encounters or dungeons - the game as it currently stands, is too much aimed at being something "competitive" instead of being fun (I mean, I have fun, but you know hat I mean). If something gets added to D4 and is a bit overpowered or if a new boss is too easy / too hard, well it's not really an issue, is it? You can just go on harder difficulty layers and have your fun this way. Current wow doesn't work like that besides M+ but even than, normal people only care for the rewards tiers (so keystone legend, weekly keys and title), nothing else matters, while in D4 the game itself is the reward, so to speak. Like, I can play D4 without caring about other players difficulty because there are 0 rewards tied to difficulty itself. It's just, more xp, more loot, and doing harder things just because you can instead of being forced into FOMO - instead most of D4 cosmetics are tied to the store instead of "prestige".
The question is, what is the better system?
