Alleria and Turalyon are MIA, at least as far as we know.

The Elves come together and cleanse the Well via a bunch of different magic mcguffins related to them, the Well is now named the Dawnwell and while not corrupted anymore, it's significantly weaker.
Didn’t hear the rest of this, just saw a bunch of people complaining about lack on impact or stakes but those first two sections sure as shit feel like a hell of a problem.

The Sunwells corruption gets resolved quickly within the epilogue chapters, so its a nothingburger.

The part where the planet essentially got a large sum of Void energy injected into it is a rather interesting development though.

The Dawnwell weakens them in general and leads to Velves and Helves reintegrating into Thalassian society so I wouldn't call it a nothingburger.

Personally, I think the outcome is actually pretty good for a World of Warcraft situation however.. The writers just go "Yeah, so.. I guess that happened. Anyways, THE UNITY OF THE ELVES WOOO" and then Troll Raid. So it just kind of makes a really good decision in a vacuum but then the aftermath and everything done after devalues it to a point where it looks comedically out of touch with the stakes they have set for the latter half of this Saga.

Like in many ways, this moment could've been actually a restart point but because ultimately it is handwaved by the Warcraft Team and the Narrative Team as just "something that happens" its not just more than a facepalm moment.

I just do not understand what the point of this zone was beyond the fact it conveniently fixes everything so they can get to Live Service portion without having expended any form of resources.

Why do you say that before we even get a minor patch afterwards? I will bet you several dollars this event is the impetus for some kind of shared customization unlock between Velf and Belf for instance, or even a new neutral elf.

I believe the voice lines confirm this. The energy is in Azeroth now.

I presumed as much, cause Quel'Thalas has a normal skybox beyond the Voidstorm stuff, so I imagined things would return back to normal otherwise.

Perhaps so, its' just again it seems a bit convenient to just Unite the Elven Tribes and then we go on a adventure to Troll stuff when the most eventful events in-Universe just took place.

Again, jarring. But I am also not surprised at this outcome if it does occur. Its typical Warcraft Team wanting their sandbox in the first Major Patch but refusing to see that they don't have the time for them to play in their own specific sandbox.

Which alleviates one of the worst things about Legion (there is a green fart laser, forever).

I think it's more that either the average consumer doesn't want to play in the same zone(s) for a year+, or Blizz has that belief. So there is a pivot to something new outside of Eversong and the portal realms- be it Stratholme, Atal Utek or both.

I really don't think we needed another major elf patch nor do I see how it could be done.

Which imo is odd, cause they could very easily remove the fart laser and green swirl from the skybox. Actually, idk why it hasn't been done yet ngl.

For what it's worth, I actually discovered something- they are completely rehauling the Horse animations, despite horses not really appearing in launch Midnight as far as I know. Maybe the new crusader mounts use these?

Perhaps a tease at future content, perhaps not. But the animations are very nice.

The walk - trot - canter - gallop animations are interesting. Do normal ground mounts have any equivalents to a sprint animation?

Its probably just nothing more than someone who loves horses and decided to animate them better.

Not that I'm aware of. Would be cool if it's something akin to DRIVE but for horses to go with a Lordaeron/big part of North EK update.

    Oh shit?!?!?!?!!?!

Always felt the current Horse animations were strange, especially on a Human character. Would adore seeing new animations on a Horse.

Though, the walk, run, and sprinting animations are unique. Feels kinda like the Skyriding animations for mounts, which uhm...excites me a bit.

From what I'm aware, it's usually just their normal run sped up.

Ah. Was it every said what they were/how they were doing it exactly, or is it basically implied that they learnt from/repurposed/refurbished the mogu golems?

As someone who loves ground mounts and try to use simple looking mounts this is good. I wonder if they're gonna add new sound effects too. The difference between the old horse sounds and the "new" ones is still jarring to me.

uhm... the whole dawnwell situation screams void elves will become permanent residents of silvermoon... then they drop some high elf sprinkles (NPC's, don't be fooled) and some high borne out of their magic hat and boom we got the "unifcation of the elven ... *******tribes*****" xD ... oh man I love this game and play it everyday but the "story" becomes more and more hard to "follow"

Will Azeroth be purple when she wakes up now? O_o
Everyone says they want good dreams, yet when they wake up, they've forgotten them, but... no one forgets a good nightmare!

Ye its pretty stupid. Also the whole thing in general tho, feels like overcompesating the alliance, because we are in a horde city.

Yes I feel every time they touch void elves it becomes worse. What would be right would be a big race overhaul with sub races merged in greater races as customizations and then slowly move the void elves out of focus. The racial could be used for both blood and void elves maybe slightly nerfed but then colored in arcane/void/light.
But this won't happen and instead they will eventually move void elf camps into silver Moon ...
But they also brought back valeera in this mini patch so I guess this also has something to do with midnight and that high elf camp in the the south west.... The zones look so good ... Art team as always the carries
