Well let's see.
Midnight 12.0 launches on March 2nd.
12.1 would be in September, ideally a week before Blizzcon. What they could do is tease 12.2 and TLT at the same time, and give us a roadmap until TLT's launch.

I mean if they want to they can make 12.2 into transition to 13.0 be incredible and ride the coattails until 14.0 if they recognize the moment. Even so, going online at the tailend of your Saga is the most Warcraft Team ever.
If so they could do a very good job with TLT teasing at Blizzcon.
I no longer reply to quotations beyond if you're asking a genuine question or have a non-confrontational stance.

If 12.2 is the Worldcore Xal Raid which results in the Titans coming back (said by Metzen already) then the connecting thread is there. They can say the Worldsoul is damaged but not explain how or why (does Xal corrupt it vs does Xal lose but it still breaks vs it doesn't break but sets off a titan alarm) to preserve a little mystery.
Classic+ announcement is inevitable from how they keep teasing it and how Blizzcon will line up with MoP coming to a close and TBC not being far off from ending either given how fast they run through the anniversary realm patches. The only real question is whether a Wrath anniversary will happen or not given Classic+ will obviously be taking all their attention and it wouldn't make sense to release the two close to each other. I could see a Classic+ reveal at Blizzcon and release next early summer while a very quick Wrath classic runs from winter to summer and then you have three era realms of vanilla Wrath and MoP while Classic+ is the future. That would also prevent it from overlapping with TLT which is supposed to be around September 2027
C+ will probably be teased or in some form of reveal depending on if it is meant to release for around TLT or not. Either way, I expect some sort of message to be sent to Classic fans at the event.

Why? It foreshadows the same thing. And it's not the same as the blank zone of karesh because Amirdrassil got an entire ring of extraneous ocean seawalls that perfectly outlined the zone from the beginning.
Same thing with the Zul Aman mountain. Nobody really knows if it's going to be an activity zone, or raid portal or mega dungeon, but its definitely going to be something.I thought we were just talking about Midnight having a season 4? Because of the mounts.
If TWW (saga bullshit) is any indication, at Blizzcon 2026, season 2 will already be on the PTR, They'll tease season 3 like Argus & give us do the pre-order for The Last Titan all in one swoop. They'll be ejaculating money. And you all will be thanking Blizzard for making content so fast when they manage to pop out 13.0 by fall 2027. I can't imagine it being anything bigger than another seasonal experience.
The only way Classic Plus is as big as people have been hyping is if they also announce that expansion era is over. They keep talking about the real problem of having two many versions of wow & any evergreen version of Classic Plus would make it 6, 7 during remixes.

Does anyone have a comparison image of atal'utek's size to the mainland?
On wow's side, classic+ is is the only thing that can still generate hype for this game at this point. Blizzard fumbled metzen's return and the trilogy
I'm also curious about Wrath. The release timeline for TBC is super interesting with the raids only launching a week ahead of retail.
Either they view the two playerbases as mostly separate (which isn't entirely wrong), or they're just rolling right through TBC to get Wrath out in anticipation of a possible C+.

I'd be impressed if they announced Classic+ WITHOUT it feeling like Retail is effectively being put on maintenance mode.
Wait... the last titan... the last expansion. It's all coming together.

The world revamp dream will never die!

Thanks! Here's the image in question-

The walkable parts look a little smaller than ZA all put together, plus how much of it is venom/fel corrupted. I think it's interesting that there's both an entrance and backdoor, but only the backdoor is corrupted. Could be a half indoor/half outdoor raid like Mechagon.

Classic is far more suited for watching than retail. Things like Hardcore/OF worked so well because it's such a fairly simple approach. Retail is extremely fun to play. It's not fun to watch. It's a lot to take in at once, with so many different UIs, layouts, etc.
Classic+, regardless if it meets expectations, but just based on the idea alone will be massive unlike anything since funnily enough Classic itself. I don't think it's ridiculous enough to say that if it manages to meet and possibly exceed expectations, it has the potential to take a whooooole lot of attention away from retail.

The question is how they do Classic+ is it something like Turtle WoW where we get new levelling zones, new races, new dungeons and new raids and it is set in an alterative timeline or is just Classic with more raids and more horizontal progression?
Classic+ could just be Season of Discovery 2.0.
