I'm actually okay with Kalimdor being more isolated. After all, in WC3, they were quite literally considered to be "FORGOTTEN lands".
As for yet to be explored places? Tel'abim, Plunder Isle, and Balor come to mind.
Idk about other places though.

Kezan is close to the Maelstrom though, south of it even...

A necromancer DK spec almost feels wrong without robes... which made me think; I wonder what a landscape would look like where gear type is unrestricted for all classes, and the importance lies on the stat? I obviously don't have the game dev wherewithal to type out what that would actually mean, but I think it'd be cool to decide whether or not you want a little bit of extra armor because you play offensively as a mage, sacrificing some intellect in the process, or you need more spellcasting intellect so you wear robes as a hypothetical Necromancer.
Could open an excuse for transmog too.

I'm still really confused why they bothered to hide Atal'utek on the map when it's visible in the game right now. I guess they want an excuse to draw a million world maps (they'll make yet another one if they update Lordaeron).

Wanna know what would be cool?
If they did a saga post-Worldsoul Saga called "The Empire's Saga!"
One expac could be about a Pirate Empire, with Dread Admiral Nightsquall and his fleet battling the Bloodsail Pirates!
Another expac can be about the Arathi Empire and their lands!
And another expac can be about different Demonic factions battling each-other across the Nether (With Outland serving as their main battleground, namely as a means of claiming of a proper foothold for a new Azeroth invasion)!

Either a seperate dimension, so not on the actual world map , something yet to come, so hidden for now or just not happening. We will find out sooner or later probably.

Sure, but we had many plate robes as well (including dk specific) and ofc ->transmog. Or if its newly added, maybe different tier pieces (maybe intelect) will have a robe version. We had past raid tiers, ToT comes to mind, that had shaman robe and non robe version. Tbf, I think cloth for necromancer (dk) is the last one that makes sense to me tbh.

What about bloodsail Isle? There is a whole pirate Island that suppose to have a pirate duke and what not. Nightsquall seem like nubs compared to that whole bloodsail chain. Or are they fused? I cant remember.

Oke fair, but it could still lead into a loading screen if flying to it. When available. We had similar situations, that the backround was there, without its functionality, so of cardbord backround. Is it on the world map? Or just the zone map?
But, it could just be patch content as well.

Plunder Isle, thats the one thanks!
Aah, cool, ye sure I would like that absolutely. Could be a blast.
This might sound strange, but this isle and supposed art, almost made me think about the first pokemon movie (mewtwo) who was stationed on a island, with high cliffs and ash and co had to reach at at the buttom, with spike stairs. Felt similar. I wouldnt blame ye if you have no idea what I mean, but plunder isle always seemed cool to me and very difficilt to reach. High cliffs, spiked, wild sea.

I hoped for this, for a while, so the maelstrom can be back in the middle and make sense. Some island are jist way to big on the map. I gave up tho, because its been like this for a long time. They just dont care.
well, the first season tier for DK in midnight is a robe and looks pretty much like a necromancer. and then there is the necrolords set that gives the classic necromancer look to anyone. I don't think they will ever make you need to wear different armor types, as paladin healers already have an int plate.
Though i wouldn't mind breaking the mog restrictions. FF14 did it recently and it works out greatly.
I have this hunch that if we ever get any Pirate themed content its' going to be tied to Classic+. It did sort of feel like it with SoD that they were moving in that direction and so it wouldn't surprise me if there are some Islands added in that context.
I think the problem Retail has is that they probably think they need to keep the maxima of concepts and I think if nothing else what they're failing to realize is we just need them to actually care and have a plan + execution that actually showcases them in the driver seat rather than hanging on for dear life.
I no longer reply to quotations beyond if you're asking a genuine question or have a non-confrontational stance.

Not sure if we've talked about it here yet but there's a "hub" in Silvermoon of different elves (Belf and Velf) that seem to be planning for some kind of expedition, similar to the hub on Siren Isle. All the island talk is what reminded me of this. If it's not Atal'Utek I wonder if they will pull out a new kind of Siren Isle for the post-launch pre-12.1 period, though I have no idea what it would be.
