I think the problem Retail has is that they probably think they need to keep the maxima of concepts and I think if nothing else what they're failing to realize is we just need them to actually care and have a plan + execution that actually showcases them in the driver seat rather than hanging on for dear life.
I mean, it could be Classic related, but DF did imply some stuff going on with the Nightsquall, and considering the plotline with the Storming Seas and whatnot, I wouldn't be shocked if we got a Pirate Expac and an Arathi Empire Expac back to back.

Cause, let's face it, I'd heavily hate to see Pirate content relegated only to Classic. Retail is the main version of WoW, so imo they need to take advantage of that opportunity.

Classic exclusive things should only apply if said thing cannot happen in retail due to lore reasons, like the raid at New Avalon.

I just don't see low stakes from this Team, but then again that itself could be a marketing opportunity now so we'll see what 14.0 shakes out or whether it turns into another 3 Expansion extravaganza.

    Whooo knows.

I no longer reply to quotations beyond if you're asking a genuine question or have a non-confrontational stance.

Low-key, I think it's more likely to occur this time around. Legit can't think of another potential upcoming expansion idea to fit alongside the Arathi Empire stuff and the Demons potentially returning lol.

At best, maybe a Life-based expac or an Elemental-based expac, but that's it.

Glad to see them sticking with the narrative style of previewing new content.

If we are don't get your hopes up too much for a ton of changes, we usually get 1 content build/week with other builds being fixes.

Purple unfortunately isn't in vogue this expansion.

I think it's likely that after the world soul saga, we're going to get something that's initially advertised as some sort of 'fresh start'.

I don't mean anything dreadful like wow 2.

If it's to be another saga, I expect some sort of saga of exploration. Avaloren seems to be the safest guess for at least part of the setting.

I imagine a fresh world map that is the other side of Azeroth would be utilised.

However, low stakes 'saga of exploration' isn't going to generate the level of hype Blizzard want from their announcements. So I'd expect it centered on the Arathi Empire at this point.

Id expect the first part of the saga revealed, with the name of the second. Possibly leaving the third unannounced this time around.

I really am on the train of we're getting big race and class rehauls after this saga. So a fresh setting would probably be best for that.

I the meantime, I'm very exited for TLT. I'm ready for my Ulduar capital.

Stakes aren't really an issue when people were hyping up Midnight to be like the void equivalent of Legion and instead 80% of the advertising is about settling into your cozy peaceful home and the void itself isn't really that huge of a deal as it's only attacking Quel'thalas and neither faction cares to do anything about it so it's just Xal'atath losing to priests paladins and elves not counting your special snowflake player character that is the only non-holy character summoned through the Sunwell. As usual the problem is execution not concept

This might sound strange, but this isle and supposed art, almost made me think about the first pokemon movie (mewtwo) who was stationed on a island, with high cliffs and ash and co had to reach at at the buttom, with spike stairs. Felt similar. I wouldnt blame ye if you have no idea what I mean, but plunder isle always seemed cool to me and very difficilt to reach. High cliffs, spiked, wild sea.

I hoped for this, for a while, so the maelstrom can be back in the middle and make sense. Some island are jist way to big on the map. I gave up tho, because its been like this for a long time. They just dont care.
I feel that, after every expansion is over, they can just size down the expansion's continents that are supposed to be cannonically smaller than EK and Kalimdor.

    I'm thinking this:

Pirates, Arathi Empire, and Demon War!

Green has always been a very popular color among the elves of Quelthalas.

I would suppose the "United Elves" are the forces for the March of Quel'Thalas aka th Night Elven/Nightborne + Thalassian forces.

Also green is the color of the Farstriders. Makes sense that a Farstrider would be courier.

They couldn't have picked a worse name even if they tried.

Green is the Farstrider color, i think the NPC is just wearing the green questing gear.

Says who? We don't know anything after the raid besides what happens with Umbric and Rommath. I think there may be a confirmation on the High Elves as well.

The United Elves thing is highly likely just the team that assembles to assault the Darkwell .

From what we know, Umbric gets his old office back as an embassy and the Silver covenant basically dissolves and gets an embassy as well (Silversun compact). There's nothing to suggest any further unification, maybe they introduce neutral High Elves/Silversun Compact? With Alliance High Elves starting in Stormwind and Horde High Elves starting in Silvermoon. But if they were truly unified they wouldn't need embassies. It doesn't seem like the Night Elves are very interested in a "Unification" with the Thalassians either. They just chuck a bottle of Moonwell Water in there.

One of the Max-Level-Campaign chapters is Uniting the Elves and the next one is Battle of the Bridge. When March of Quel'danas opens you probably get a quest to join the battle for which this courier is used.
