erm... you know, Thrall in northrend using the powers of the earth... was used before? And people did not like it

i know and i wouldnt mind if Thrall didnt do much but call me crazy, i can see an alliance between him and Iridikron. I know it might sound insane but sort of an "enemy of my enemy is my friend" type group effort between the two if they can agree on going up againts the Titans.
Also on Iridikron... i just think it would be an insane cinematic to see the literal Incarnate of Earth filled with rage and revenge go one on one with a Titan.

No, it doesn't add credibility. Tank shaman is such a long requested thing, it is nearly as obvious a fan request as tinkers or high elves. Now, if it would have had healer hunter or ranged dps DK/Monk, than it might have credibility.

Ranged (typically Chi-ji) monk has been a fan concept for a pretty long time.

if not all of the Titans are bad, Amanthul 100% is. the Legend of Elun'Ahir book is a big implication that Eonar would rather side with us (or atleast with Azeroth) than to ally with Amanthul. For the other Titans, i don't know...i can see Golganneth siding with us or being controlled by Order (Amanthul) then eventually falling which could result in the Storming Sea calming down, opening the way to the other side of Azeroth.
Next Saga could be a giant landmass that would open up more and more through several expansions with the main villain being maybe the Light Emperor of the Arathi?
It would perhaps feel more grounded than fighting interdimensional planet size blueberries and such.

On the topic of Aman'thul, do you think there are Caverns of Time/time-keepers elsewhere in the universe (ie: planets that the Titans ordered) or are they only on Azeroth for some reason?

Maybe but in the video they made it sound like they want it to be too jarring with old and new zones right next to each other, unless I'm mistaken.

I can definitely see that being the issue with Northrend. Zones feels like they should all be very contained, or not at all. And with Northrend the only option is very contained, meaning you need to change all of it in one go.

Personally I don't think it's as big an issue as people are making it out to be. Howling Fjord and Grizzly Hills could easily be one zone for instance. Scholazar Basin is the most out of place location, but could easily be one part of the entrance to an underground area. Crystalsong Forest and Wintergrasp never really had much in it worth updating, so they could collapse, or just a part of a different zone.

Really, once you start to game it out. And especially if you consider that an Underground zone could be patch content, you end up with a Northrend that is the same size as now, just with different zone borders, and possibly slightly more noticeable dead areas with nothing in them, which honestly is not any different from the Dragon Isles, which similarly has loads of large areas with nothing in them.

Wont let me post this for some reason because it has a link in it I think, this leak from Dragonflight mentions Storm Peaks, Quel'thalas, World Revamp, K'aresh, Earthen and an Artificer class.
