    That's nice.
    Would have loved more transmog, or maybe even a customization option, but I can live with it just being a title.

    More armor colors! Honestly the armor option should have been from dragonriding gold, not from something as inevitable as Valdrakken Renown.

    And for anyone trying these, you really need to use Ascend far more than you did on the other set of challenges.

    It was disappointing. Pretty much everyone knew that it was either Dragon expansion, Black Empire expansion, or Both (not we know that it might be Both), and leaks were not creative. The most creative leak was done by someone who just slapped the word "Dragon" on a purple Void background.

    Meanwhile, the leak season after BfA was way more creative and original, because 1) it wasn't clear if Shadowlands were going to be continent or simply a patch zone like Argus (Shadowlands before the expansion were always depicted as a ghostly shadowy realm that didn't offer much in the way of variety and diversity in terms of environment) 2) As a result, popular leaks revolved around Lich King expansion with Revamped Northrend 2.5) And btw, I remember quite clearly that even some people around here were saying that 9.0 was going to be about Evil Lich King and Revamped Northrend, and Shadowlands would just be an endgame zone like Argus or Tanaan Jungle 3) Other popular leaks revolved around Black Empire expansion with Azeroth falling to N'Zoth and the forces of Death playing a role against N'Zoth (I'm sure everyone has seen that ghostly version of Stormwind fake leak).

    It was so obvious that patch 10.0 would be Dragon expansion, because there was no other known continent left to explore, aside from maybe that meme joke banana island.

    This next leak season will be way more interesting, I can guarantee you that. Already we do not have a clear path forward, and as discussed a few pages ago, 11.0 could be anything:

    1) World revamp expansion (unlikely, but possible);
    2) Ancient Azeroth expansion after the Murozond end boss of Dragonflight;
    3) Black Empre expansion set in current Azeroth;
    4) Lightbound expansion;
    5) "Avaloren" expansion;
    6) Faction war expansion (Turalyon turning into Garrosh 3.0/Sylvanas 2.0, I'm not saying I would like this but it is possibility that is constantly brought up here by a certain someone).
    7) "Titan civil war" (personally I don't think it makes sense to make another expansion about Sargeras when there are still Light and Void threads opened, but it is possible).

    Yes, the next leak season will be way more interesting. At least on other forums. This place is basically dead so you don't see a lot of leaks here but I'm guessing that the official forums and Reddit will be very lively when Dragonflight ends and leak season begins.

    Tbh the big problem of classic (and especially seasons with it) is that you can't transfer the stuff back into retail. I would love a "Season of Legacy" were from the start they are clear that this is meant to give people another chance at former fomo stuff for their real wow accounts once the season ends, not before that to avoid people transfering a character once they get item XY (with the option to also transfer to classic realms if people really want to), not whatever current classic is supposed to be. They are already loosening tcg and promotional stuff, so for fairness sake they should also give people another way at "elite" rewards from past seasons/raids. At the end of the day the question is from where does prestige come from - having been there at a specific date or playing specific content with specific rules for a specific time. It would be a bit like what pokemon did with the pokemon bank basically - and I promise you classic numbers would explode if they would do this haha.

    Especially if they would go the "some changes" route they currently have and include stuff like achievements from the start (so people can see what they will earn for retail) aswell as curve/cutting edge FoS for the raid tiers (labelled as Curve/Cutting Edge Raid XY (Season of Legacy)). Basically a whole optional side game that's connected to retail, like a propper "timewalking" feature.

    No, it's good that you can get armour from different stuff. There are enough people out there who can't do the challenges thanks to motion sickness.

    tbh currently, with Warmode off, only the language barrier and grouping with random players remain as outdoor hurdles, and queueing for random dungeons/LFR for instanced content.

    Also, Fahrad, grats on post #1337!
    But your duty to Azeroth is not yet complete. More is demanded of you... a price the living cannot pay.

    Oh, definitely. Can't wait! Well, except for the inevitable whining that you can't buy everything that's on display

    I think it'll be pretty good the first month, considering the bonus 1k. You'll be able to get the celestial steed and the flail.
    The second month however..

    For me the big deciding point will be 10.1. And whether we seem to get consistently more rewards added.

    After the death of deadwing, parts of his corruption spread through the maelstorm and reached the worldsoul of Azeroth itself. It's titansoul was dorment and easy corrupted.
    With Azeroth corrupted by the void lords , they finally achieved one of their goals. Corrupting a titan. It would take years for azeroth to wake up, but the power of void grows rapidly on the surface.
    Many people go mad, and start doing the old gods will. With so many for their cause, 5 old gods managed to take over the surface in a matter of days. The entire population went mad.
    Nozdormu hears the whispers of the old gods, and manages to see the future that had been clouded all this time. The corrupted titan would enslave the entire universe when she wakes up. A future where nobody has their own wil.
    There is nothing and nobody that can stop this future. He feels the corruption taking over his body.
    The hero and Chromie are inside nozdormus protective bubble inside the caverns of time, but this bubble is slowly decaying with nozdormu losing his control.
    He hears whispers of the old gods, but also the voice of someone familiar (neltharion).
    With his last moment he trows the hero and chromie back in time, and he shatters time itself. For a moment, all infinite possibilities happen on al timelines and time itself is shuffeled. For the past (right before the cataclysm) it means that the world is not like it used to be. Naga, tuskarr and Ogres dominate azeroth with great empires on the continent. There is no alliance and horde, every classic race has their own zone. The big cities of the 3 great empires are places for trading and questing.
    While this seems to be a peaceful timeline, the end of all things will still happen. As chromie states, all timeline would reach to that anchorpoint where azeroth itself gets corrupted and old gods roam the surface.
    The only way to do anything is to go back to the future and somehow heal azeroth from the corruption before she wakes up.

    Features:
    -A whole new azeroth to explore in the past with new factions and quests, new dungeons, enemies and allies. These are exploration quests. Dragonriding will be possible here.
    -The future that we can reach to cure azeroth, a playable zone, but with a timelimit. We can only play there one half hour a day, can be increased with certain items and abilities. Staying longer in the future and the player would get corrupted. The main quest plays here. With each major patch a new playable zone in the future will be added. Here we will also fight corrupted versions of people that we know.
    -New starting zones for all races, 3 new playable races, naga, tuskarr, ogres
    -5 raids where we will face old gods. Some of them are 1-2 boss raids.
    -No alliance and horde, all players can trade and play with eachother. Those who wish to pvp can do so with warmode.
    -professions are expanded on, new features and possibilies
    come on man...a little creativity goes a long way

    Seconded on both counts. I figure that a "WarCraft II revival" aesthetic would be a rather nice thing to see pop up here and there, especially in connection to the Orcs and Humans, since WarCraft II was the last time they were exclusively in the spotlight and the story wholly orbited them.

    I still don't get why people call it grunt armor. Do people think all orcish armors are "grunt armor"? The set looks like some kind of gladiator.

    One thing I will say is that I am a little disappointed in the lack of class versatility in the Human heritage armor. I'd frankly have preferred something more akin to a Stormwind-themed version of the Kul Tiran heritage armor, or maybe Anduin's Legion-era clothing with a bit of plating added. The Human heritage armor looks pretty terribly unsuited for any class except Warriors and Hunters. Something like the former suggestions would be more suitable for any class to wear.

    Player power? Not necessarily. It helps though. That's why WoW is in dire need of a horizontal progression system - something that should have been implemented a decade ago, at the latest with Legion instead of "borrowed power".

    It's obvious that while Dragonflight does a lot of things right, it's a very boring expansion as of now.

    Blizzard did state that there were other stuff for the Heritage Armor that wouldn't be shown until later, so I imagine at least a robe option for both, and maybe a different helm for Humans and a version of the Orc one that isn't bare-chested.
