oh yes i forgot the huge addition of green hair for humans and elves etc. Clearly revolutionizing.

Meanwhile on private servers post sl you see them giving everything from troll and forsaken beards to 3d pieces on arms and legs etc. everything from fel eyes to what not.

Blizzard is filled with liars and assholes. But that shouldnt surprise anyone.
while i wouldn't use such harsh language... yeah, Blizzards own words about stuff like customizations are deflective at best, and flat out lies at worst. And not just customization. Most things they say is PR and not to be taken at face value unless they have tangible things alongside it to prove their words

    Prediction time:

12.2 will be the Undersea, with N'Zoth revealing his true form and location.

When we time-travelled to the Black Empire in DF, he recognised us. He made us his champions in BfA, testing us for what's to come.

He let Xal'atath free from the dagger to took it for his own, knowing she'd usher in Midnight and realising he'd have to play her dagger-game in order to survive.

He let us believe we defeat him, but is chilling in the depths below.

Blizzard already showed us that they were willing to split TWW up into multiple parts with added content. So we got the Earthen, Arathi and Nerubian bits in TWW as planned. But Harandar and the Undersea were kept for Midnight, and the Wordcore for TLT.

Expect Queen Azshara's return as well, given the setting.

Heck, the Awakening might be Xal'atath reviving N'Zoth as part of their ancient deal but who knows.

At least in my case I think it's more that expectations are down the drain now.

    ...

Can we stop this nonsense already?

"Oh, N'Zoth isn't dead people! He'll truly reveal himself soon enough!"

Like, bro. How many times must it be stated that the Old Gods and the Black Empire are gone til you finally get it?

    - - - Updated - - -

Also, idk why you think it'd be wise for us to battle an Old God at full power AGAIN the expac after defeating a Void Lords true form. Stop that. N'Zoth is gone.

Given how completely absurd the whole dagger thing in BfA would be if he didn't have some sort of plan to it? No.

Though personally i think it'd be more fun if we end up having to ally with him.

The others are gone, but N'zoth's probably still alive, albeit probably a little stuck in a dagger at the moment. But, well, that never stopped Xal. I significantly doubt we'd fight him as a boss again, though. We already took out his true form

I also wonder if they're going to drag out that other mentioned Draenei planet they seeded as well

I really hope that N'Zoth scanning our minds when we went back in time is not a plot thread that just stays loose, but I don't feel good about it.

If they actually decide to bring back N'zoth, he better talk and act like he did in his fish form.

I will not be satisfied with anything else, regardless of the narrative quality.

That's because most people don't treat playing a video game like a serious romantic relationship or dev comments to the effect of "yeah we'd like to do x, we've been talking about it a lot" as some sort of sworn commitment worthy of being offended over.

There's no reason for 12.2 to be anything than fighting Xal unless we get four seasons/Xal boss fight isn't the focus of the third season and is just a single-boss raid.

Apparently the dagger is empty, so...

12.1 probably that troll island, 12.2 maybe lordaeron area? fighting against the light while xal completes her mission ushering us into TLT, i see the titans splitting into different warring factions maybe a vrykul allied race.
As for the customization overhaul were seeing articles about? Probably xpac after TLT

    I know, I know.

But N'Zoth clues aren't that ancient.

You could dismiss the ones from Legion through Dragonflight, probably, since they're from a time before a lot got rewritten and staff shuffled around.

But the cutscene with N'Zoth seemingly striking a deal with Xal'atath isn't old, nor is the Undersea.

Since we know they just postponed Harandar rather than scrap it, it's fully possibly they'll do the same with other lose ends from TWW (Undersea, Beledar, Worldcore, Tyr, etc.).

Not saying N'Zoth necessarily comes back as the real-REAL end boss to betray Xal'atath or anything, but there is a distinction between Space Void and Eldritch Void these days so it's not unthinkable we'd have two flavours of it in the same expansion.

An Undersea patch could technically feature N'Zoth as a dagger while Queen Azshara is at the forefront, or some other tentacled entity altogether. Who WAS that figure in the mural, anyway?

I don't think they are able bring him back in a satisfying way, but since old gods are "never truly dead" and we have the black blood all around, i could see some echo of him guiding us how to put xal back in the dagger or forge our own doodad to imprison her.

I wouldn't mind if he comes back though... I just want an achievement for keeping my gift of n'zoth since bfa if he does lol

Believing that N'zoth is truly gone is pure nonsense.

There are multiple hints pointing at his return, some of them very recent.
Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.

It's better to treat it like that then to basically keep mindlessly giving them money and threatening fellow players that you will spend more money

Man I hope they have the warband bank issue resolved before Love is in the Air is over.
    Because the vast majority of the tokens I had, I had just dumped in there so I could just mass them and spend them when I was ready ;-;

And the colouration of the butterfly gear they have this time is NICE.

You can take things out of the Warband Bank by using either the Garrison Storehouse Banker or the Warband Bank Distance Inhibitor
