I agree, I think it needs to be sharded more aggressively though, it sucks having like 40 people there causing everything to lag TF out or having like 5 people trying and a shit load afk making it basically impossible

It also sucks that most people don't get to engage with the defense building mini game at all because there's so few spots relative to players but that'll probably even out over time


Now we just need to combine ashran/warfronts/prey/delves/tower defense event

Into one labyrinth style semi instance zone to create the wow version of bozja which would have been literally perfect for argus now that I think about it




Would this in theory make it possible for classic players to load into housing?

The thing that makes the most sense to me is that we get wod + legion classic for the progression realms and the rest of TBC + Wotlk on anni realms (splitting off into TBC era and Wotlk era) then offer the chance to transfer classic characters to retail in 14.0

While also expanding into classic+ alongside a new release of fresh servers, all of which also are connected to housing with decor/transmog/mount unlocks truly being account wide

That could also open up merged retail and classic collections, or atleast a classic season that ends with chars on retail.

My body is READY for a warlock tanking spec, although I hope they lean more into a "General of the Legion" aspect than a Void aspect. How dope would it be to sacrifice demons in battle to keep yourself alive.

After Worldsoul Saga we'll see her again for sure, I think. They kind of hinted that at the end of DF, with Gnoll Mon-Ark telling players Wratheye is on the loose and will need to be dealt with at some point.

Unholy is almost caster right now, most spells don't require to be in melee distance.

Something new for gameplay is missing from most specs imo in Midnight. Most play like somewhat simplified versions of their TWW self.

I am pretty sure the developers want to make it into a full intellect caster spec, but are still afraid of player backlash given the reaction Survival got back in Legion.

I've played Unholy as a main since Cata (rip Blood DPS) but I'm seriously overthinking a spec change, do not like this at all.

Just want something massive that feels fresh tbh. I almost fall asleep on the two specs i play currently. (Unholy and balance) but I just pvp and even then its kinda dull.

Oh that's interesting. It doesn't explain the Azerite in the Den though

it's just a pet theory of mine so far. As for the azerite, it could be that alndust looks like azerite, because azerite contains alndust. BUT it is not pure alndust, but has other azeroth stuff in it, which make it look similar, but work vastly different. Could also explain the radiant remnant in hallowfall, which could be azerite that is not infused with alndust.

well, if we go by the cosmic forces chart, life and light have some connection to spirit. perhaps what we see with the lightbloom is spirit if it tips over to light instead of life

Xal used everything in the Dark Heart to create the Voidspire, which is essentially a giant void cannon. I don't remember her directly receiving any kind of powerup.

She took in the power and also used it to create the Voidspire. It's unknown how much of the power of Dimensius within the Dark Heart she used to make the Voidspire and how much she kept for herself, but she's demonstrably stronger in Midnight than she was in TWW, so it's almost 100% assured she kept some power for herself.

Maybe make it like the DH Metamorphosis, transforming you into a Lich for a period of time. They already have male and female Lich models anyways.

Maybe, showing that would be cool? They could've literally done that when she was in the Dark Heart then? This whole thing is silly to me. This is like me going "Uhm achsually Shadowlands has really interesting lore if you read everything and uhm achsually its' acshually very very cool but you dummies didn't read or engage with it at all".

Good lord, the next few months are going to be insufferable if we're going to start using the LARP term seriously. This idea that we couldn't have the impact of a powerup shown and instead we need to rely on text tidbits in the Artbook and the quest completion text dialogue of 12.2.7s' prologue is really silly. But anyhow, par for the course I suppose. After all, its' not like they have the money to expend on something like this.

There are so many color, armor, and accessory variations for the Maldraxxus lich model already that they could even make a lich form customizable like moonkin is for druids.

That actually would be pretty cool to have it as a shapeshift form and thematically fitting since becoming a lich is generally an transformative process in fantasy.

Wanna know what would be cool? If at the climax of TLT, every force was battling at either the Worldcore, or somewhere else.

Like you'd have the Titans and their Titanforged
The remnants of the Light's Vanguard + maybe some more Light forces (Like added Naaru, etc)
The Wild Gods and other forces of Life
The forces of Death (Ebon Blade, Covenants, etc)
The Demons (Either led by Sargeras and/or Illidan, or are simply doing their own thing)
The Devouring Host
Iridikron's forces (Likely going against Azeroth's champions + the other forces. Though, I wouldn't hate the idea of him teaming up with us eventually)
The forces of Azeroth (The Alliance and Horde, the Aspects, the Champions, etc)

Do you think we will get some more development on the usage of Decay magic? The last big showcase it had was the gnolls in Brackentide Hollow -- where the source of the Decay was coming from, which I don't remember exactly what it was? -- and the leader (Decaytriarch Wrath-eye, such a cool title) even escaped.

There's a side quest in Harandar that explores Decay quite a bit which I found super interesting, could be something for them to explore there - gave me "5th Old God" vibes.

I mean sure if you completely changed the setting and story of the expansion? The Lightbloom is literally caused by the Sunwell overloading with Light energy - they explain this like 30 mins into the MSQ.
