This is NEW CAMPAIGN stuff. Not to mention we are ALSO GETTING Heritage Armor story quests and the Velen stuff (following week)!

The Reforging Tyr questline sounds like "Paladin for everyone" in 10.2, not gonna lie.

10.1.7 is LOADED with Story!

It says faithfully or near-faithfully restored. So they're coming from exactly where they previously came from, or close to it. I'm guessing they mean shit like the tiger fur dropping again or some of the rare transmog pieces off classic rares that never got moved forward to Cata having their rares put back.

Has anyone thought about the idea that Chromie‘s actions led to another timeline where Azeroth isn’t the only/most mightiest nascent titan soul and we will travel (for whatever) reason to that sister planet. Any implications on such a turn of events?

Doesn't matter what Tyr is like when he wakes up, we are literally rebuilding a Paladin Order right now that represents across all of Azeroth.
Even if Tyr turns out to be a bad guy (which literally won't happen anyway), all you need to do is rename it from Tyr's Guard to something else."To aid their efforts, Travard rebuilds the legendary Tyr's Guard, righteous paladins dedicated to representing the values of Tyr across Azeroth."

True enough. After how they handled the Horde Priests I don't think they will whitewash everyone, but this may just be a coming together of all the Paladins as opposed to how it was handled in the past (Legion and Orcs as "Brothers" like the Alliance)

So they may be bringing classic rares back to Cata EK/Kalimdor? That seems like a secretly huge deal.

You may be right, yes. Also, they'll probably bring Shaman to everyone via the Primalists stuff (aka anyone can use the elements if trained for it or something along those lines). I can see them sowing the seed (pun intended) for future druid of any race in patch 10.2 too. "We need more druids to help us safeguard the Dream" kind of thing but I don't expect druid for any race to happen in 10.2, more likely later considering the time it takes to create all the assets.

I love they keep bringing back old items. My dream is one day they would just bring back old world and put it behind Caverns of Time portal. It could have shitty XP reward or not be updated for Chromie Time at all, I just want have opportunity to visit it any time without having to play Classic.
Also I hope for increased drop rate for many old recipes. For example Engineering googles from Sunwell, since there is achiev now to craft all of them.

10.1.7 is looking to be a pretty decent patch for those of us mostly interested in the lore.

Next will be the 10.2 announcement! Exciting times!

Oh man if we are getting open paladins for 10.2 I can't wait to see all the racial paladin mounts.
Holy spider for undead!
