Vyranoth being an ally remains incredibly lazy, if unsurprising. Bitch went from "vengeance is all that's left" to "uwu, omo, let's be friends" within one questline of Fyrakk torturing some tertiary dickhead to achieve the plan they were after for ages.

AotC mount is definitely a harsh blow to 10.3 though. Sure it could be a new thing, but feels weird.
Though then again, the Tyr questline still doesn't look like it will be resolved any time soon, so let's see.
The world revamp dream will never die!
It won't be the last major patch, I have seen it, maybe in a dream, maybe in my common sense. If it is I'll write pro-Calia fanfiction.

Though honestly them breaking the emergency glass on the Emerald Dream now is unexpected. They're running out of places they can go short of giving up and pulling planets out of their ass (which is where WoW will inevitably reach).
FFXIV - Maduin (Dynamis DC)
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

The tree being the link to a revamp also makes sense. Tree is saved, blooms in Azeroth, first thing shown in the new expansion cinematic.
They did not confirm 6.2 being the last patch of WoD at the time if I remember correctly. There was a lot of speculation about Farahlon but we know what happened in the end.
Seriously if 10.2 is the last patch of DF, this expansion would go from being one of the top ones to one of the worst.
Hopefully something new will come out of the interviews, because, fuck, this is dissapointing.
Maybe the issues that they had with their developers were worse than we believed.
Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.

They added a longer questline for the Blue Dragonflight in 10.1.
IMO was one of the best questlines in WoW, Major Blue Flight characters got a nice sendoff: Senegos, Malygos, Sindragosa and her simulacrum from the Azure Span. Made me cry real man tears.

There will be another raid, and 10.3. Blizzard confirmed it in a Korean interview. https://www.inven.co.kr/webzine/news...88422&site=wow
6.2 was however the obvious endpoint for WoD. From was captured, Gul'dan had begun the endgame.
Farahlon didn't really make sense as a tacked on ending after.
6.2, and for that matter 9.2, both had in common that they were introduced after lengthy droughts, which made it more obvious it had to be the final patch unless the rest of the expansion suddenly went by twice as fast.
The world revamp dream will never die!
This is hte main reason I doubt it. They've had some good press, but it's all hinging on a rapid release schedule and not repeating the primary mistakes of the worst expansions. Two patches is the sure sign of a failed expansion. They'd piss away all their conditional good will for no benefit, not even time-wise, as producing a half-assed last patch (lol Cataclysm) is easy and they managed to push out DF in a functional state a lot faster than expected.

NOTHING in this says 10.3, just its not the finale of the story and Blizz will continue making new raids and seasons. Unless you think we're getting 10.4?
Perfectly said lmao. Shes pretty much IMMEDIATLY siding with her sworn enemies. The people who kept her in a cage for centuries. And ive actually seen some people who said its good Blizz "took their time" with showing Vyranoth slowly changing sides....it was ONE cinematic lol.

There's always the possibility that Tyr and the Titan Keepers becoming an overarching story threat along with Iridikron. In the sense they're out there and we know we're going to have to deal with them at some point; similar to Kil'jaden, Azshara, Deathwing etc back in the day.
If we do get a world revamp, there's some villains for us in several zones. Titanforged, keepers, earthen etc in zones such as Badlands, Un'goro, Loch Modan, Uldum etc.
