They could always close out DF in 10.2.5 or 10.2.7.

Knowing it will always be the obvious thing, I believe what he says and the spot will just be there and the tree will cross over from the dream to that spot. Idk it makes sense.

The tree, sure. I mean the Dream specifically. It's clearly right in the middle of the bay going by the map, but would it be cooler if you flew through the portals to actually get there.

It is located there, so I don't think we see it outside straight away, just in the dream until we get to that point when we actually cross over outside the dream. Atleast I think.

Unlike Zaralek caverns this is off the side of Dragon Isles proper, so there wouldn't be much reason to have several entrances, but maybe one more closer to the Azure span?

I think we should have unique options. void elves have a whole set of unique void customization.

The zone is in the dream version of the crater in Ohn'ahran, I have to assume it moving to the real world would put it in the same place, no halfway around the world or something.

It's technically "part of the dream" but it is an external zone. You simply fly west of plains & you're there. No portals or loading screens. Ergo, my earlier confusion.

However Fyrakk figures out how to get there, it entails causing it it exist both in its pocket dimension & the material plane at the same time. This is also how feywild campaigns or the domains of dread work in dnd lore.

They also considered this for a moment developing 8.3, where there's a remnant of the concept where Nyalotha was originally going to connect to Nazjatar.

10.2 may not be the final patch, but that doesn't necessarily mean 10.3?

Could be 10.2.5, or 10.2.7.

This is my take. Between the legendary, the weird concentration of teased story beats (e.g. storm and netherdrake recruitment) and AOTC rewarding a mount (protodrake transformation but w/e) - I think this is probably the last tier. Maybe another quick S4 depending on timing.

Are you sure of this mechanic? The zone map seems to emphasize the portal. My guess was that the crater is still just a crater and you go to dream bough and fly through the portal into the dream version of that area, which actually has stuff instead of just water.

We're definitely getting 10.3, and its going to be revealed in less than 2 months at BlizzCon alongside the new expansion.
