Preliminary notes on the ptr:

• All Crests are now junk. /wrists
• The Netherdrake now has some new dragonriding customization options, but color is not one of them: Even though the color of the drake has changed from aquamarine to the indigo of the default netherdrakes in Outland.
• Because Horde leadership is very funny, the Alliance sent the Night Elves to deal with Fire encroaching on a worldtree with this obviously, so all the forces the Horde sent are Forsaken. I guess they thought they had the most experience with this situation.

Because three of them, at least, have been accurate. So no, not always fake. I saw “leaked” images like this for WoD, SL, and DF. All three turned out to be true leaked images. To me, this one looks fake, but also could be a Stoneborn or Nathrezim, maybe even infected with Life force, but either way, saying they’re never real is inaccurate.

DF and SL were both screenshots, not pictures of a monitor and I don't even know what WoD leak you'd be talking about, unless you're confusing the background WoD banner in the Blizzard official pre-Blizzcon video for having been a picture of a monitor.

Oh man, can't say I'm much a fan of the new faerie dragon mount. That face is...not good. Like someone stretched a fae dragon skin over the highland dragon. Kinda hoped it'd be at least a bit more different in shape too.

Recognize how bad faith it would be from Blizzard to put the Night Elves on the Dragon Isles. They are not going to do this unless they have interest in doing the whole Splintered cells of Night Elf populations across EK and Kalimdor plotline in the aftermath of the tree birthing and all Night Elves being told to come to the Dragon Isles.

It would be seen as a completely malicious decision by the Narrative Team if they go through with this "as is".

As a long time dedicated Nelf fan, it seems like an absolute wonderful opportunity to be put in a place so closely tied to the Dream and Green Dragonflight and hope of renewal. Your take is a personal one, like mine is, and it’s not bad faith at all for Blizzard to do with their game as they place. Cause it’s theirs. Not yours.

If the options are for NPCs, I'm unsure, because why would they be adding more visage form NPCs? Unless they pop up around a world revamp, I doubt there enough new visage form dragon NPCs appearing soon.

The main sticking point is fairly obvious: there's no pressing reason to terminate the expansion early. Both times it happened, WoD and Shadowlands, were gratuitous failures that led the game to hemorrhage subscribers. For the latter, on top of just being awful, it also had the addition of a troubled production wracked with the simultaneous occurrence of a sex scandal and a pandemic. Dragonflight, while understated and not exceptionally successful, has typically been treated with little worse than lukewarmness and exasperation with the tone, so there's just not much pressure to end the expansion as soon as possible and try to garner favor back with the playerbase.

No, which is why I didn’t say that. It’s not bad faith, you may not like it but it doesn’t make it bad faith.

And I very much enjoyed that point in the plot, because it’s fantasy, and conflict makes stories more interesting. I love Night Elves, but if it was always peace and love and nature, they would get boring.

It’s fiction. It’s not even yours to control or have a say in. Just go/look away if you don’t like it. Major eye roll.
