Let me guess... Iridikron opens the Door to Darkness that leads to K'aresh by kidnapping 7 Princesses of Light (Moira, Calia, Talanji, Tyrande, Nakha, Anduin [yes, he counts], and Yrel).. and we have to seal it before the Hear-- I mean.. Void Lords invade our realm and we have to seal it with the Key-like weapon they gave us in the Secrets of Azeroth event.

Joke theory aside, it doesn't look like Silithus.. so I doubt it is the sword. Plus it looks too small to be the Sword itself, if anything it looks like a portal of some kind. Either that or Sargeras had OTHER swords he put into other planets and this is just one of them.

Can't post link since it's a new account but was watching mrgm on twitch and he saw someone on twitter with the name twitter.com/ wowexdev, the pictures reminded me on this leaker earlier mmo-champion. com/ threads/ 2641020-World-of-Warcraft-Empire-of-Void-10-3-and-Beyond. We will see the upcoming days if this is the real leak or no, based on what the name is in the trademark.

We've been talking about this for a few pages now, where do you think MrGM got it from?

There aren't any bigger shots of the "thumbnails", that's part of what makes me suspect AI art is in play.

Just a reminder on the Trademark thing: Both Shadowlands and Dragonflight did not receive Trademarks. If a Trademark shows up it would mean its a very unique name for the expansion.

So if a Trademark does show that does put more legitimacy on wowexdevs' content because they would've known that a Trademark could be filed for the expansion.

I doubt there will be a Trademark it seems Blizzard has found one word names as a loophole to not necessitate a registration and still be in the clear legally from a potential conflict. (IANAL)

But yeah, if there is a filing we are definitely due for one if it is a unique name.

I don’t doubt that Gallywix will be used as a threat again, and I hope he is. I love his character. But arguing that he would be a more compelling expansion level threat than Azshara is definitely something.

As for Azshara, my preference would be what you said. Or her absorbing power from Azeroth’s world soul and becoming her avatar for lack of a better term.

Or maybe something like she absorbed the powers of the Nightwell and the Sunwell and uses a mix of Elisande and Kael'thas magic... to where she has governing control of both Space and Time at once.

Interesting, so essentially I just don't see this happening at all for multitudes of reasons. I was under the impression they were filed 2 months prior for filings and am surprised to hear that Legion was filed same day as Gamescom.

It appears to be the same case for BfA but I'm not able to find Shadowlands or Dragonflight.

Considering how Legion was and how SL and DF completely ignored it I really doubt they will do this since it is such a known way to learn the name of the next expansion at this point and they are fully aware of it.

Unless again they intentionally file for the sake of hype.

You’re on record to say we shouldn’t fight Azshara because we’ve already beaten her and that she’s allegedly beneath our power level. Now you’re claiming we shouldn’t be fighting Void Lords because it’s a ridiculous power creep, even though we’ve fought Titans and Eternal Ones.

Make it make sense, stick to an actual argument.

No, I said we shouldn't fight Azshara again because we've already fought her, and she brings along a thematic that we've already experienced multiple times. The fact that you need to elevate her to the umpteenth level in order to make her a relevant antagonist and avoid a thematic retread proves my point. We shouldn't need antagonists being the literal creator of worlds and gods to be relevant or interesting.

We just get some power amps, some really crazy weapons and armor, and bam! EZ!

I believe the point is that we shouldn't be fighting titans, first ones, and void lords on a consistent basis. It ruins the game over time.

No. It would completely deflate hype unless the remaining stuff in Dragonflight is beyond amazing.

Dragonflight is done as far as I’m concerned. I wouldn’t be against a quick panel showing us whatever 10.2.5 etc will be but I’d want pretty much the majority of panels devoted to 11.0.

You do realize that currently the Game Files and Interviews except for Gamespot points to DF being essentially "done and dusted" (The only legitimate counter is: Holly's comment on 8 Week Cadence which does not fit with any schedule other than 10.2.5/10.2.7 existing or 10.2.5/10.2.7/10.3/10.3.5/10.3.7.)

Again, there is a chance they will attempt to "wow" us but really bad business decisions have been made this Blizzcon which leaves bitter taste for those aware while those who are not are blissfully ignorant.

The best case would have been to have everything be hype and 3 Major Patches stay as standard but it seems they want to move to less.

They just are not in the mindset of playing ball with the community, the only way this works is if the announcements are exemplary good to overshadow the bad.
