I mean the AU Yrel was on Draenor, but our universe's Yrel could be anywhere. She might be a Lightforged we just haven't met yet. Its Sela from Star Trek TNG all over again.

Blizzard has an story with AU Yrel. A potentially very cool and fun story IMO.

You got the WOD lore completely wrong. Yrel's universe no longer exists, the Draenor we saw in WOD has been transported to our timeline. What was left of that universe collapsed, so there is no Azeroth in which the orcs never invaded.

Blizzard could have used this now in the last patch with the invasions of alternative worlds, do you think it's a coincidence that they didn't use this Azeroth?

Time passes faster in Yrel's world simply because Draenor is closer to the twisting nether. Not because they are on another timeline. This Draenor is close to the twisting nether probably because it is the place where celestial bodies that came from other realities emerge.

Furthermore, the naaru that approached her are the same ones that had the technology for space warp travel, like that which the draenei received. That's why she can be anywhere.

Source? Alex Afrasiabi confirmed that there is a multiverse and an alternate Azeroth in WoD.

I think that this has not been debunked yet.

Imagine if they make queued BGs cross faction and the “factions” were just light and void.
(Maybe randomly assigned idk like how horde/alliance is randomly assigned in RBGs)

Could explain PvP without any current faction content.

Did they ever say Yrel was born on Draenor? Because in the main timeline, she could have ended up in one of the other groups from Argus.

According to the Characters of Warcraft page on her (now defunct but you can get the archived link on the wowpedia page), she was indeed born on Draenor.

This is entirely wrong, the Mag’har recruitment quest proves that it’s an alternate timeline that was closed off.

Maybe Elune can't appear physically. Perhaps she was slain, or was a physical being who ascended into goddess, and the moons are her stand-ins.

It's correct just as often as it is wrong: You realize all these places were referenced in the RTS game, yes? It's easy to group them considering they were included in maps.

Precisely. Back in the day, we had a much better idea of what could pop up. Just getting a couple zones right was entirely sensible because we had a fair idea of what kind of expansion themes to expect in the future and what kind of zones may appear. It isn't like today where we've all but drained the figurative ocean and are left to wildly guess.

Your point about the Bronzes closing all timelines is wrong. Alexstrasza struck a deal of collaboration with the Murloc timeline, so it does not seems that the Bronzes are closing that one.

I mean, there are infinite timelines. This has been confirmed with the quests of 10.1.5 and 10.1.7.

We have helped multiple timelines at this point. Primalist future is another one, for example, and I do not see the Bronze Dragonflight saying: "fuck it", and just closing it. They are actively helping that timeline.

Also how many Chromies were in the recent quests? There even was a dinosaur Chromie if I recall correctly. There were like 10 different Chromies from different timelines. I do not think that the Bronzes are closing those timelines either.

Some (non-spoilery) updates to kiosk (BlizzCon demo) mode this build, so to nobody's surprise it looks like we're getting a playable demo at BlizzCon. It was also updated from being limited to only Bastion to the Emerald Dream (placeholder while they work on it/test it, I guess).

Except what they added are just the War Mode sets, not the honor or conquest gear sets. These seemingly only exist because they won't be possible to farm in 10.2, not because they're not adding any more PVP sets. The War Mode reward gear will likely be a recolor of the (very cool) outdoor content 10.2 gear.
