If it is any indication of the theme of next expansion then it's 2 blizzx(first was blizzonline) in a row that would have ice themed mount.

holycrap this feels kinda lazy on blizz part. They didnt even change the armor.

I mean, yeah. But almost every BlizzCon Virtual Ticket has contained rewards relevant to the expansion, IIRC. From the Illidan murloc, to Horde and Alliance cloaks and airships, etc. An ice elemental could easily be a tease for the theme of the expansion, especially since Thrall is back and Vyranoth is becoming an important character.

Proper ice elemental instead of just cold water

I just can't imagine "the elementals" carrying a whole xpac thematically especially aftere DF and all those elements people

It must be that Thrall vs Evil light thing
I can totally imagine the opening like some big explosion, someone stepping out of some vessel... camera bottom to top, evil and pissed yrel landing in lordaeron cleansing forsaken
Then in the xpac she connects to scarlet crusade and burns down all undead areas
green jesus, with connection to both A and H, steps in and we help him win against evil light
Turalyon might be always on the edge and the story could portrait this inner fight
Then they can also get the void back with Alleria etc
And eventually revamp EK

Elemental looks like it may be a new rig, different from the other elemental ones.

As someone who forked up the money to go to blizzcon I will be pissed if they don't have anything new playable on the floor. Why would I want to play content I can play on the PTR??

That's a great point. Someone should kick up a stink about it and see if we can get some confirmation, because PTR content on the floor would be ROUGH.

Also, I guess this means the Dark Gryphon isn't the ticket mount. So another point to it being the CE mount.

imagine a blizzcon in which they announce no new content for wow, only go over 10.2, and show season of mastery 2 for classic, and thats it for wow.
that would be...fatal.

As someone who got a blizzcon ticket to see a wow xpack drop I would cry.

Wait! What would happen if the world-soul died or disappeared? Would all that spirit she gobbled up be released back into the planet?

Because I could see that causing quite the stir with the elements. It would be cool as hell if we had extreme weather conditions, lava pits, blizzards, tsunamis and stuff. So we need to calm them by collecting all the spirit and putting it back into the world-soul, to rejuvenate her.

Would be so weird also - look at overwatch it says meet the new hero which will probably be playable on the floor. For wow then we get to play the PTR we have been??? Classic is different. Which is interesting as the newest thing to come out is ICC or Hardcore and I think confirms Cata classic which will probably be demo on the floor.

They should bring back the Cata Blizzcon demo from 2012 and make it playable.

As for Classic, I simply expect Season 2, but with bigger changes. And hopefully they finally understand classic is about leveling, so any, even interesting change or addition to endgame is pointless.

I think because they could use the DF Logo and not the patch logo. The wording sounds like we are only going to see 10.2 be talked about at blizzcon which would be horrible.

This is until blizzard retcons Draenor into having a world soul for some reason.
Aggramar did create the orcs after all. (Well created an ancestor of the orcs but same thing)
