yep, that's boring. hope you guys are wrong because otherwise 11.0 is going to be really disappointing.
flop in terms of sales? not at all. flop in terms of player retention? absolutely. game had 12m players in june; now people doubt it has 100k people left playing it.
Eh, i don't think they're concerned right now. If people don't come back for season two, that's when they'll start worrying... a little.
In fact, i wouldn't be surprised if they actually fully expected this to happen. They probably expect similar seasonal play behaviour as they're seeing in WoW or D3.
You have hints for every race to become every class.
>Primalists have humans, gnomes and elves in their ranks
>Tyr being revived opens up for more races to have access to the light
>Every race being allowed to commune with the Emerald Dream (and not nightmare) to protect it will probably lead wild gods to find worshippers within the new races of Azeroth.
There are only two things preventing Blizzard from doing it right now. First they gate this content because it gives people a reason to reroll during a patch and extend their game time. Second, these classes actually need some work in term of modeling. They'll need totems, paladin steeds and druid forms.
In my opinion, we're going to see the new classes in that order : Shaman for 10.2.5, druids for 10.2.7 and paladins for 11.0 because I'm betting on Blizzard allowing us to custom the paladin mount since they don't have anything else to change outside of their spell visuals.
The Dream was going to happen for any expansion involving the Green.
The Redeemed Primalists are definitely a way to pave the road for more shamans. Tyr's Guard MIGHT be the road for more Paladins, but maybe not, as I am suspect of how Tyr will be portrayed in the future and Blizzard has already shown to revert homogenized Light culture when it gets too bad (Orcs). I feel like it might be a misdirection/red herring to make Tyr look squeaky clean.
There is nothing pointing to everyone being druids in the Dream patch besides the Dream being relevant. There IS a tease of a young Pandaren boy having a dream (in the Dream) and that's about it. Pandas have been noted by fans for a while as one of the races most likely to get Druids.
All the new creatures everyone thought would be new druid forms? Unlockable druid forms.

When people ask for Druids for Everyone, I THINK they are also expecting unique forms for every race. Now imagine Blizz adding a Bear, Cat and Flight Form (and if BFA standard, Moonkin, Travel and Aquatic form) for... every single race that doesn't have Druid. In a single patch.
If Druids for Everyone happens in a single patch, everyone will be homogenized to be the same Green Bear. Are we cool with that? Will fans be cool with that?
I personally think people will be fucking pissed if Dwarfs/Belfs/Pandas get druid but are locked to generic forms.
The next big system is going to be interesting
I mean DF has hit everything except for group content in terms of changes
World of Warcraft: Eclipse
- Theme is Light vs. Void
- Azshara main villain. Makes contact with void lords. Xal’atath returns with Iridikron. Plan is to corrupt Sargeras into a dark Titan to kill the other titans.
- Playable Ethereals start out on K’aresh. Zone returns as patch content.
- Avaloren new continent with Titan city Uldaz as capital.
- New feature similar to Torghast but is called Path of the Titans
Well, my hope is Kalimdor - Orgrimmar for Horde capital, Amirdrassil for Alliance, smaller cities like Thunder Bluff and some zones reserved for 11.1, 11.2 and/or smaller patches. Few pages ago someone reminded about Mag'har questline where Botani and Saberon run towards Barrens - another hint.
I think no one will care if Blizzard keep introducing new forms regularly in patches. I think there won't be one generic form same for Undead and Dwarf, but some races like Mag'har and regular Orc will get same model.

Unique forms could happen imo. Plus it’s nothing compared to all the creature models they make for new expansions (or even patch content)
There are some models that I think could be used perfectly for some races. Like the Mechagon cat model & its colors would be an easy port to Mechagnomes for example.
