You'll believe it when you see it for yourself.
There is far too much to indicate that 10.2 is the last major patch.
The only way that I could see this not being an expansion announcement is if they are doing away with expansions entirely and returning to the vanilla style where they just put out patches on a non-fixed linear progression. i.e. 10.3, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6 etc. With raids and dungeons and new zone areas interspersed. Which to be fair, I could see happening if their plan is to revamp EK/Kalimdor.
To some extent they have switched towards this approach, what with DF's approach to just throwing in campaign/storylines in patches and making larger balance alterations (spec reworks, Aug, etc.) mid expansion.

Ooohhh
What if 11.0 introduced elemental gear bonuses
Like you have a tier set but can augment it with an elemental bonus based on content
I'll bite with eclipse, sounds like the most reasonable of all the leaks so far. I remain skeptical like with the Evoker stuff we got a couple years back, until I hear a better leak.
Not sure what half of the leak means though. Loop skill? Dynamic Flight?
Well that’s the thing, people don’t view this as an elemental expansion, they view it as a dragon expansion. Elemental stuff is a secondary theme, just like death in BFA and demons in WoD. If 11.0 follows the same pattern, 11.0 will bring an elemental theme full bore.
I don’t think the general audience would be tired of it, because right now the dragon theme overrides everything else.

has this been brought up here? Night Elves leaving make senses but do Worgens get a pee spot in the new tree or do they go back home?
yeah no. i'm pretty sure many view dragonflight as a mix of dragon/elemental. doesn't help that the incarnates (and the other dragons in general) spend most of their time in their visage forms looking like a bunch of elemental dudes. another elemental heavy expansion would be bad imo.
Did WoD have a demon prepatch event?
Were its gathering nodes demon-infused?
Did every profession have demon-based sub-specializations, core recipes and use demon-based universal materials the entire expansion?
Did every central quest line involve demons?
Were large portions of every zone demon-related?
Were two of its three tiers demon raids, with the third also being heavily demon-themed?
Were there demon-themed armor, weapons, mounts and pets in every zone and every patch?
Did it add multiple demon-based world events?
Were the main enemies of three of its four zones demon-infused factions?
Were the main over-arching villains for the entire expansion a set of demon-infused villains?
I wish people would stop with this bullshit. Dragonflight is not "like WoD had demons!!!!". Dragonflight is built from the ground up as an Elemental expansion. The Elemental theme is not secondary or off to the side, or minor. It has been slammed into your face from the opening quests of the expansion all the way to the final boss.
I don’t think he returns. I believe Iridikron dies in Dragonflight attempting to remove the Titan influence from the world. Thrall comes in during 11.0 and repairs the damage with the elemental lords. Just like he stepped in during Cataclysm. World returns to pre-cataclysm, Worgen return to Gilneas, Goblins restore Kezan and we visit Undermine.
It simply makes sense.
There was the the Drust in Kul’Tiras, and Bowansamdi messing around in Zandalar. Not to mention Sylvanas doing her thing throughout the expansion.
Nah it was in other spots too.The theme of Death was only ever present during the Saurfang/Sylvanas duel and the following quests where she claimed Death was coming for Azeroth.

I would disagree. The incarnates are dragons first, elementals second. Which is why they were introduced in a decidedly dragon expansion.
