I mean we also have datamined updated Ironforge Guard armor, weapons and tabards
Something with a Dwarven vibes might be coming, and I am over the moon if it turns out to be so

Each by themself? Maybe. Together? Far to much uncertainty.
We also don't know what exactly the anomaly actually did to the Earthen. Their behaviour is similar to Dwarfes. Not their nature. It could just be something affecting their minds. They were already "alive" in a way before that.
There has to be a reason why Blizzard chose the baddie to carry over to the next expansion to be the Earth Incarnate, and then pair him with the void. I believe that this clearly indicates we are going underground, not necessarily to Avaloren. I think the theme will be an underground old god expansion.
The sword. Connects us to c'thun. Which would explain some of the new scarab stuff recently datamined.
The collector gryphon textures appear to have a saronite glow, connects us to Yogg. Maybe we'll get some new Nerubian stuff. Wasn't one of the Night Warriors in Shadowlands a Nerubian?
Also, some of the new dwarf items are wildhammer themed, which we know are in EK, not Avaloren. I think Khaz Algar will be underground or somewhere we already know of.
Anyone ever hear of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argyria
That's what that Gryphon skin reminds me of. Think it might be that dark blue because of some sort of Silver/Titan material affecting their biology.
Another option could be it's darkened because this area / "other side of Azeroth" is in constant shadow in relation to the sun, and maybe they only get moonlight. Fun fact, we only ever see one side of the moon. And in some planets cases, their tilt + rotation causes some parts to never see light.
"Ahem, achktually I was just exaggerating to get a rise out of you sweaty don't take anything I say too seriously (unless I'm right, then I'm being serious)"
I don't think any planet could have an entire continent in perpetual night without being tidally-locked (i.e. the other side is perpetually bombarded by sunlight). On Earth, we only have a couple smaller locations that experience polar nights for several months. However, this is fantasy, and Shadowmoon Valley gives us a precedent for regions in eternal night anyway.
"We will soon be in a world in which a man may be howled down for saying that two and two make four."
— G.K. Chesterton
The frozen Mind cracks between the mineral staves which close upon it. The fault lies with your mouldy systems, your logic of 2 + 2 = 4.
— Antonin Artaud
Erm... Azeroth rotates.
It has a day night cycle.
And its moons move around the planet constantly.
The only way this makes sense is if Azeroth had a secret, orbitally locked 3rd moon that's either so big or so close to wherever Khaz is that the moon perpetually blocks out any sunlight.
Or if the place is actually rather small and shoved into the region around one of the planets poles.
But then its not on the backside, is it?

Yeah, I'm right there along with you, I'm absolutely devastated, My husband has no interest in 11.0 and my friends all quit WoW so the guild is dead and I doubt many og them have interest in this as they all quit when Zaralek was introduced.
I was on Team World Revamp, this aspect of Underground just doesnt appeal, I will see you all at the 12.0 speculations, best of luck all.
I will watch Blizzcon don't get me wrong I will play Classic but if all this rumoured stuff is true about 11.0 then it's just not my cup of tea I will skip it and won't buy it, doesn't mean I love WoW any less, This particular adventure is just not for me and I will sit it out just like my husband and friends.
Yeah I will play Classic with my Brother and Nephew, they live in a different country to me so it will be nice to spend more time with them as they hate Retail.
I’m just glad the “void vs light” / “light invasion” people have shut up
