That doesn't mean it can't or won't have future narrative involvement, but as is the thing served its purpose.

I mean, that would work pretty well. Make another Legion:

    - Instead of the Broken Isles, Avaloren.
    - Instead of Demons, the Void.
    - They beat us again in our first attempt to close the Big Void portal.
    - We search for new allies. One of them is Yrel. Set her up for 12.0.
    - ?
    - Profit.

Although I would rather have a world revamp.

Just saw a tweet implying that the unused Heritage Armor recolors may be appearing soon. Unsure where they would see that but I believe it.

I think you meant burying gorehowls blade in her skull as mag'har orc.

Sure hope so. It's really odd that some races get all the tints, and some only get the one.

You know what else is unsolved business from BFA?
Azshara & Xal’atath. Both of whom are directly referenced or shown this xpac and have plans to return.

Having a settlement/society being slowly built around it over the years would be pretty dope.

Either way, I feel like Blizzard will end up trying to do something with it since so many people are asking about it.

I'm fully prepared for you to say Dragonflight wasn't elemental themed because it didn't have the Elemental Lords (multiple) but the next expansion will be elemental themed if the opening cinematic has a milisecond of fire in the footage.

You know that graph prediction was only accurate at two data points: That after BFA was announced, the next expansion would be Undeath themed, because Wrath was Undeath/Faction themed. If Cataclysm is the basis for Dragonflight plus the following expansion, and Dragonflight already has an abundance of Dragons & Elementals then for all we know the next expansion is ____world revamp__________ themed.

You know who's mentioned or referenced more than Azshara or Xal'atath in Dragonflight? Sylvanas. Elisande. Denathrius. Sargeras & The Nightsqall.

Aliiance could find help in Yrel.

Horde could find help in... ehmmmm... Ethereals? Ogres? Arakkoa? Maybe the remains of Draenor's Ogre empire. Yep. That would work.

Been a bit out of it with the rumors lately; but watched a few videos on youtube and got the hint people are thinking 10.2 is the final patch of the expansion with a 8 month or more fated season? Is this accurate? Last Fated Season was nice for M+ and loot acquisition, but it was awful in terms of new world content. My guild lost a lot of players who never came back when DF launched due to Fated. From my PoV it felt like Fated was ok for a short 3 months, but anything longer would be awful. Was it very popular with the players?

I really like DF, but I have to admit my guild has been a ghost town compared to BfA and Shadowlands. Most days its just myself and 1 or 2 others online doing things unless its a raid night. I'm hoping Blizzard can make some changes in 10.2 / 11.0 to get more player engagement.

    It's official Hearthstone art.

I just mirrored it and colored it yellow.

I wouldnt be surprised if it's just a regular LF Draenei from some Hearthstone art.

In the end, I wonder - does it matter what theme they choose for the next expansion?

I just hope they significantly improve the storytelling. I find it disturbing, that whenever they come up with a good or even a great story, or at least potential for one, it's hardly ever delivered the way they probably expect it to be.
Iridikron is a prime example for that expansion - we know he's the master-mind working in shadows and Fyrakk is his puppet that he uses to serve his goals. So what happens? Fyrakk is most probably the main villian in Dragonflight with Iridikron being the one setting the scene for 11.0 with his story being resolved in 11.X.

Instead of hints and clues, or minor storylines leading to the next expansion, they choose a path to cut the current plot short, and push it to the next chapter, leaving an impression that something about the story is off and feels incomplete.

Vyranoth, as predicted, has a rapid change of mind in a blink of an eye. Is it bad she joins our side? Nope. It's just the way it's handled. Doesn't feel satisfying really, and it's barely justified.

It seems like they take upon too many threads in parallel, and the trade-off is that the major plotlines have no time to mature enough to provide a rewarding conclusion, while the minor ones are being dealt with within a single patch (as it should be). As a incarnation of earth element, Iridikron has some great parallels with Neltharion, where both are being corrupted by the Void, but in the end - it's just teased, left to speculation, while it could have been told in DF itself. And as speculation and cliff-hangers are important tools in storytelling, in current WoW paradigm, it seems to be extensively overused with an alternative cost being the lack of conclusion.

It's just a weird take, especially with a MMO, which isn't the greatest medium to tell a complex, multi-layered stories. Have a single change in plans, cut the content, and the story falls apart -> Warlords of Draenor, Battle for Azeroth, Shadowlands.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is what makes Teriz finally admit Towellie doesn't know anything.
He probably won't stop pushing Undermine though, just this one hint.

If it's not bullshit, then I stand behind the idea that Towellie saw a big cave zone or caves are the new system (like Torghast). And that's basically it.

Randomized caves for solo/small group play make too much sense imo.

No you see Undermine is ACTUALLY on top of the Titan facility Uldaz/Khaz Algar so therefore it’s technically not called Undermine!!!
