Also interesting tidbit from the official reveal: Drogbar live in the Underground. How did they get to Highmountain?

Drogbar are hinted at being titan creations of some sort and also were enslaved by Deathwing. Presumably he had them in both places.

Anyway with the tier sets its interesting that the priest one seems to not be mythic. I figured the wing effect would be from that.

Everything looks great but I am bummed that the new dwarves and Khaz Algar aren't part of this, was really hoping for some new dwarf group. But I guess that's my fault for convincing myself they'd be in 10.1

Nothing wrong with seeding things for the future a bit.

My own hope for Avaloren continues as an expansion setting, similarly.

It honestly feels like all the lore books so far (Avaloren, Odyn, Khaz Algar, Pirate King, Azshara) are all about a future expansion, which is some pretty ballsy foreshadowing on Blizzard's part if none of them are set in stone.

Vortex Pinnacle was a team favorite that feels open, airy, and fun, and they were really excited to update a dungeon that never had a Mythic+ version before. They're very interested to see how it's received by the community.
Next, Grim Batol an Zul dungeons plz.

I can see that some limitations had to be made to connect the zone to the overworld. Like it can't be THAT deep.

They did say the roadmap would evolve based on feedback. I'd say it was a wise decision.

I think there's a sizable chance the Megadungeon is the giant tower in Azure Span and that is where the Blue storyline gets wrapped up.

Btw DH set definitely giving Silvermoon vibes. Switch out the belt for heritage one and you got some solid Belf mog.

The Priest set is really in a league of its own.

Just palette of this armor set compared to others look very different and weird.

It will have other colors, but still the overall design will be the same.

They did mention Green + Bronze dragonflights’s stories will continue “in future patches” ~ I’m hoping Bronze gets its own patch focus at the least, not sharing resources with Green too much or vice versa ~ if there is a 10.3 they could do both well, but with how they do expac content recently DF is probably limited to 10.2 - 10.2.5….

ALSO — I’m really not sold yet on Fyrakk being the big bad of 10.1?? Since underground earth dragon *is* the most scary according to Alexstrasza … was hoping Iridikron now, how do other lore folks feel about going vs Fyrakk?

The final boss is probably going to be a mutated Sarkareth to make the final boss different from Razageth. I think he may be one of the bosses, or they are saving him for a council fight later. Or he dies to the three black dragon champions as a surprise.

I don't know what is going on with this story, its slower than I thought it would be and with how many ways Steve has put breadcrumbs to greater plotlines for later on I assume we're just going to get a theme pivot either in 10.2 or 10.3 (if it exists).

Again the whole purpose of killing Rasz just looks stupid in retrospect when they intended to slow this storyline so damn hard that we are doing a siderouting to Black Dragonflight storyline.

We're not doing a "siderouting", because we're clearly still dealing with Fyrakk this patch. The black dragonflight being involved just feels natural for the zone.

I do think we're dealing with Fyrakk this patch, Iridikiron is far too soon even if we're underground.
I'd say he's saved for a more old god patch, with the ice dragon (forgot her name) being either the mega dungeon or the third raid tier.
I don't think we're getting a major plot twist, I feel like it's better to continue the story in this way, while developing characters like Murozond in the background.
