Khaz'Algar is semi-confirmed with a potential leak of the Collectors Edition mount being called Algarian Stormrider.

This wasn't exactly what I had in mind as this is an entirely different part that's being leaky, and arguably more leaky than the stuff I had in mind/seen. I knew there were some Rumble related things as well as the dynamic flying mount, but definitely did not have these full names for them. The Storm Rider achievements are complete news to me.

Yeah, I find it weird that Bronze has a Storm Rider thing. Does that mean it's a title? A new set of dragonriding races? Or is it a Transmog Set?

- Level cap 80
- 5 Zones
- Story deals with what Elune actually is (hint; Rebel.), and how Iridikron and Xal'atath want to subdue it for their own goals. They go to Avaloren, we follow.
- Earthen dwarves in Khaz'Algar rebelled against Odyn and the titans after receiving power from Elune. These 'Moon-Dwarves' are the heretics the documents mentioned.
- Lunarhoof tauren make the mountains of Avaloren their home, a tauren tribe that has Night Warrior-esque tauren warriors.
- Could Elune's moon-magic be an off-shoot of void?
- No new class

Khaz Algar has been foreshadowed since Uldaman was playable.

Currently we have more of a storm theme than lunar theme, unless the Ysera murloc implies some Elune focus.

I wouldn't say so, no. Few lucky guesses based on things in-game right now. Also wrong name, if "Storm Rider" is the name of the expansion.

Those sound like dragonriding races to me, not entirely sure how that would go with the similarly named mount from the deluxe edition though, so might be available for more mounts than just that one. As I said, complete news to me so speculating blindly here. Very interesting!

Aside from not having much to do with "storms", it's a pretty safe leak with absolutely zero interesting features despite being the 20th anniversary expansion. Nothing to do with Avaloren in the promotional achievements, either, but Squally is there which implies Nightsquall will be relevant.

idk, Khaz Algar is already known and hinted at from the lore books ingame. It only is more likely since at this point I would discard anything that doesn't involve Khaz Algar

I'm going to guess at the VERY least, Partial Revamp that includes a New Nelf City and Silvermoon, per their updated assets and the boats.

Stormwind, maybe. We don't have much in the way of Horde assets to show they are working on Orgrimmar 2.

I think I've pointed it out before, but the mounted heads and rugs are Orgrimmar assets. Well, they are actually assets from the Dalaran (Northrend) Horde-side inn, but they are also used in the Cata revamp of Orgrimmar, in the large building on the right-hand side of the Valley of Honor.

Hmm ok, but Blizz have been going with 1 word title names so I figured, oh well.

I wouldn't count on a pattern with expansion titles. People always try for that and it never works out.

Cataclysm, for example, when the name was found ahead of its announcement, many people went on about how it didn't fit the pattern, how previous expansions weren't one word.

Then Mists of Pandaria - people were adamant about how previous expansion titles always mentioned the villain (kinda glossing over how Cataclysm isn't an enemy but eh again, logic).

Battle for Azeroth sounded like a patch name to some.

And so on.

Hell, the "one word expansion title" thing doesn't even track much since we went from Legion to Battle for Azeroth to Shadowlands.

I stand by Eclipse being a far too generic and far too overused title/subtitle for them to consider using it for a WoW expansion name. It's just bad marketing, you can't even search Wow eclipse without getting a ton of other things.

And also this "leak" still reeks. Why would you not just say what Elune is supposed to be and that the magic is void-based?
