True or not, making the class available to all races seemed a bit suspicious to me.
    Maybe blizz is creating a background for something new that it will introduce in this expansion;
    -4th spec?
    -promotion to an advanced class?

On the other hand, we said goodbye to borrowing power and I don't think it will come back in any form soon™
I also realize that after so many years, hardly anyone gives a f for lorewise trauren rogue or mage but for me it's still cringe.

We haven't had borrowed power since BFA; and making all classes available for all races is inevitable at this point - they're not gonna give everyone priests, warlocks, mages and rogues and sudenly stop for some reason

(This is lead by High Justice Grimstone [that one dark iron dwarf we meet in the arena in Blackrock Depths that we never dealt with).
    • The Scarlet Crusade returning in a larger force and occupying Fenris Isle, the Forsaken dealt with some of them, but the rest escaped including two named high-ranking officials named Crusader Alrick (Champion of the Scarlet Crusade), Inquisitor Fairbell, and Huntmaster Scarborgh. All three of these named NPCs may be replacements to other familiar named NPCs in the Scarlet Monastery like High Inquisitor Whitemane, Renault Mograine (his successor Commander Durand in the MoP version), and Houndmaster Loksey (Houndmaster Braun in MoP).
--[The interesting thing is that the Scarlet's were using Fenris Isle as their base of operation against the Forsaken, but before that.. that island was under the Bloodfang Pack's jurisdiction in BFA and it was re-affirmed in the Exploring Azeroth: Eastern Kingdoms book.]
    • Similarly, Southshore was retaken by the Alliance (via BFA Mission Table) and is undergoing the clean up and restoration (according to Shaw's notes in Exploring Azeroth)
    • When the Scourge went rampant, they attacked Lakeshire in great numbers. It's unknown how much damage was done, but several people including the Blacksmith, did die when the Scourge attacked.
    • When we recruited the Mag'har Orcs, we didn't just bring only them with us... We brought other races like Ogres, Gronn, Goren, Saberon, and Botani. The Gronn and Ogres stayed with the Mag'har while the Goren fled to Durotar while the Saberon and Botani fled to Northern Barrens.
    • In the Orc heritage armor quest, the player meets with the Spirit of Thunder Ridge, Owa'nohe, to aid her and receive a blessing of the land. Gathering seeds from the flooded ridge and planting them near Owa'nohe's remains.. This will allow Thunder Ridge to grow trees and the Thunder Lizards will return to the land again.

This is only the newly added stuff. There's also the Mission Table Quests from BFA in relation to the achievement known as Azeroth At War which detail a list of different quests from Kalimdor to Eastern Kingdoms, establishing which areas the Horde and Alliance are occupying. I'm not gonna list all of them because the current list is big enough as it is and having to look through the other unfinished plots from Cata is going to take a while to check each one... but the most prominent one being Bael Modan in the Southern Barrens.

The only one I'm unsure about is that the Human Heritage Armor quest resolved the issues that the Defias had and we probably won't be seeing the Defias again. Though, it does point out the corruption behind the Stormwind Nobility and that there's a chance they might mess everything up depending on how deep the corruption is.
    Thank you for this!

If an elemental expansion is coming next, i hope it will be somewhat based on my concept thread, which is based on myth:

And not on the Disney movie:

Disagree with Jaina being the most prominent main character of BfA alongside Saurfang.

Saurfang is undoubtedly the main character of the expansion then it would be Anduin, Sylvanas and Magni.

If they were ranked it would be something like:

    Saurfang
    Anduin
    Sylvanas
    Magni

Then you’d have the next tier which would be:

    Jaina
    Talanji
    Nathanos

    Then slightly lower you’d have:

    Azshara
    Genn
    Baine
    Rastakhan
    Wrathion
    Bwonsamdi

And then the lower rankings of BfA’s “primary” cast:

    Lor’themar
    Thallyssra
    Gallywix
    Zekhan
    Flynn Fairwind
    Matthias Shaw
    Possibly Mekkatorque

It also wouldn't surprise me if we don't straight deal with Iridikron and "Xal'Atath". Maybe another big bad comes in between. Sure it would break the trend we have been following since SoO but it would be refreshing for a change.

I mean Saurfang got the budget in BfA. Millions were spent on cinematics to tell SadOrc's story about him being involved in multiple genocides and being sad about it.

We haven't had borrowed power since BFA more like shadowlands, so we are 'only' 1 exp pack in advance without borrowed power.

is inevitable at this point no, we were fine without it for like 13+ years

Yeah that was such an annoying quest
    Similar to Tyrande rescuing Malfurion
I'm generally not a fan of those romance quests. And not a fan of those "I describe my feelings so we can talk about my feelings, btw I'm a 4000 years old dragon but listen to my feelings" quests in DF. I wonder who writes those hyper annoying arcs.
Getting thrall back is okay for me as long as they manage to present him with dignity
    Nodon | Vynd | Pheraz | Fenryl | Schatten | Unheilig | Farodin | Landoran - Plus 20 more...

He should get his powers back by doing something COOL.

I still think Malf should have died at the end of War of Thorns by doing some miracle and saving Teldrassil single handedly and making it impossible for the Horde to attack it (it was called the War of Thorns, imagine him dying and creating a massive Wall of Thorns surrounding the tree that would grapple anything that came close). He'd have died doing something cool and the Alliance would still have every reason to attack given the massacres at Ashenvale.

Like Thrall could stop Iridikron by severing him from the earth somehow.

They'd need to have yet another new intro for it to make sense. Plus, while it makes sense for the Ebon Blade to want to raise them to help contain the Scourge after Shadowlands, I'm not actually sure if they even can still make full-fledged Death Knights without the Helm of Domination. Every notable Death Knight, including the players, was created directly by the Lich King.
I don't disagree that it's a tiny plothole, but the new intro was very obviously designed to be future-expandable. The whole reason an actual threat isn't mentioned (or anything else particularly distinguishing) is because they obviously intended for it to not just apply to the 8.3 extension to all current races, but also for it to be usable for additional races down the line.

Realistically the timing for any other class and Exile's Reach doesn't make much sense either. How would second generation Dracthyr (a post DF existence) learn to be say, a monk or priest from their respective faction members, then get shipwrecked on an expedition on Exile's Reach, then get sent to the Dragon Isles and arrive just as the Alliance and Horde are first setting foot on the islands and the Dracthyr are still in the midst of figuring out what's going on and who they are?

Anything besides Evokers is already anachronistic for the intended leveling path, so there's no reason to single DKs out when DKs were specifically given a universal secondary option for any race.

I think the version of Thrall swinging his axe and using some elemental powers here and there is to me much more interesting than him becoming again this big world shaman like he was in cataclysm for example,.it's the version of thrall i liked the least.

After orc heritage quesline Aggra is now new farseer and will probably be a character that will used in more shamanistic stuff, but it's just my pure speculation.

Also i think that horde is missing an orc that has the intensity of garrosh but not evil, someone that will do some badass stuff while roaring during the battle and things like that, both thrall and eitrigg are pretty much chill, older orcs now.

Weren't the Enscrolled Everwyrms the taxi mounts when you left from Oribos?
Yeah, and the Dreamweaver mount was used as a ghost taxi back during Alpha/Beta before they changed it. That said, it's kinda weird that they never used it ingame (haven't checked if they are in the new emerald dream zone though), I mean they even did create a model for one of the HD cinematics for it.

More like, Afrasiabi did spent millions on cinematics to tell SadOrc's story about how much an evil women Sylvanas is, and how the Horde "is nothing" in her eyes.

I think the entire Aggra storyline was problematic. Finding your origin should not mean abandoning your past. Aggra calling him Go'el and putting him in Mag'har shaman drag was a joke; he is Thrall because that is his history and trying to deny it is bullshit. He is a shaman wearing the Doomplate and fighting in both melee and with the elements. As Illidan succintly put it in proper emo terms, "I am my scars"

He can be Thrall the gladiator and still be the World Shaman. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

We don't know how much influence he has over his powers yet, even in SL he called down the elements once and then went back to his axe.
Ahh so it was in the book that it was explained that, i tend to skip that kind of media due to time restraints.

Oh, I forgot to include this, but also Tyrus Blackhoof has potential. He was a night elf turned Satyr for helping Archimonde reach Nordrassil... As a punishment, he was chained near some voracious plants. Though in order to deal with Ragnaros's forces in Hyjal, we needed his help... so we set him free in exchange for some of his help.

To this day, he's never been found and he wasn't involved in the events of Legion nor the Emerald Nightmare. So there is a chance he might resurface again.

There is also Magetha Grimtotem, which she's been missing since Legion and only joined the Earthen Ring to be closer to the Doomstone... but after Legion, she mysteriously vanished and left the Doomstone behind with the Earthen Ring. Though knowing that Kurog Grimtotem (the tauren that freed Raszageth in Forbidden Reach) was her disciple, there's a big chance that we might run into her again.

And finally, we've got Turalyon who seems to be interested in returning the former human kingdoms to their glory days again. With Southshore now reclaimed by the Alliance and undergoing a clean-up and rebuilding process since the end of 4th War and Stromgarde now in Alliance hands too.

The Fourth War took a terrible toll on the Alliance. Our military might has been depleted. Stormwind's nobles are keen to see our defenses restored.

Reclaiming Stromgarde was a good first step. Perhaps there are other holdings of the old Alliance that could be secured.

Honestly, the quest where we have to go rescue him and get his confidence back to use his powers was a one time thing. For whatever reason, you can't repeat the rescue attempts in the Maw like saving Jaina, Baine, and so on... So most people probably aren't even aware that Thrall got his power back or they forgot because it happens near the end.

The heroic edition mount for the expansion being an elemental is a massive reach? Perhaps you weren’t paying attention, but further data mining in this thread has supported this conclusion as well.

I’m sure you believe that Squally and Fyrn being names for elemental based pets is a massive reach as well, right?

So, I just finished the orcs heritage questline:

which shows the entire gathered horde - all its clans (dragonmaw, blackrock, etc.) which deals with the past and outlines the future of the horde, its hopes related to its new generations and the newly elected leaders.

    Interestingly, it also shows Thrall:
who no longer has to choose between a warrior and a shaman (what is past is past) and He realize that after all these events he have to start looking into the future, which is why he puts on the Orgrim Doomhammer armor (Blizzcon 2023 key art yea)
And his children who have grown up a bit

Taking this into account, I think world revamp is much closer than we think.
