Honestly if Avaloren is just 4-5 zones I'll be disappointed. They say continent, well make it a continent. Find a way to split it across two expansions. If we get 4-5+2 patch zones times two, then that gives you a proper continent.

Why are noone assuming that the event tomorrow is the continuation of the Tyr questline? We know that the white dragonscale option is supposed to be available this patch, and we should be halfway through this patch by my reckoning.

I personally dislike the change from traditional, but after Dragonflight, it would be surprising that they return to that. So I think the "leaker" forgot about DF logo and decided to take inspiration from older expansions.

I personally dislike the change from traditional, but after Dragonflight, it would be surprising that they return to that. So I think the "leaker" forgot about DF logo and decided to take inspiration from older expansions.

both BFA and Shadowlands had a background behind the Exp title.
Dragonflight being the only outlier is not to say it has to be like this from now on.

I disagree, especially for:

A) An expansion meant to be symbolic of Classic.

B) After an apparently less-than-popular expansion, considering the sales of Dragonflight. Maybe the marketers are walking back the logo changes because it didn't look properly Warcraft?

C) Dragonflight needed the big wings, so the logo may have changed to reflect that.

It's highly doubtful that the Algarian Stormrider is going to be a universal mount feature for this expansion. If the precedence holds, it's going to be a vanity mount.

That said, given the evidence of the heroic mount being an elemental, the pet named Squally, and the "Storm Rider" achievements, I do think the Maelstrom is in play. Perhaps not for Azshara, but perhaps as a pathway to the deeper parts of Azeroth.

I agree. I don't think Blizzard is using the traditional logo for their expansions anymore. I think we're going to see stuff like Dragonflight's logo for 11.0, especially if 11.0 is a direct sequel to Dragonflight as seems to be the case.

No idea what hearthstone this year and I might have dont think we will see the survival game announced. (EVEN THOUGH! Blizzard is not using the basement yet for the con so there is a change it does get shown.)

So much for continuing the story through seasonal content. Not that it's unexpected but they made it sound like seasonal content would be the equivalent to expansions, and people expected more content in the seasons especially for a game with so many microtransactions.

As a point I agree, except that it will be the 10th expansion, 20th anniversary release: So I think there's a good chance they go for logo in the spirit of the original, for the very last time.

I think the big one is the new sitting animation where they have a little comical bounce. Screams Ogres sitting to me.

Bruh just let me play balance without looking like a fat chicken or discount shadow priest; the same can be said for shadowform actually - it's ridiculous there aren't glyphs that completely hide these effects you have to look at all of the time

Agree that Dragonflight has shown they no longer are probably doing the old style anymore. Now... what if its a logo for classic+ haha? And the mount we found is shared between WoW Retail and Classic? Could be something. Edit: I dont believe this actually....

I think the new Dragonflight logo shows that are beyond what the pervious xpacks are and that we are entering a new decade. The fact Dragonflight wording isn't in the typical banner container is a HUGE design jump. It seems like they might have updated their Logo brand guidelines as Classic follow this floating text style.

Edit: Considering the wrath classic logo also follows this no banner name container I think we are beyond this style and we won't be returning to it..
