Nope, because leakers are never that elaborate. There was no leaks about a dragon race/class during 10.0's leak season either.

I do believe it'll be elemental-based to the point where the Algarian Stormrider is an elemental, and Thrall is going to play a big role. Underground areas and the Maelstrom is possibly in play as well. But beyond that, I have no clue.

I will say that most people here are likely not going to be happy on November 3rd.

The Evoker leaks popped up like 2 days before announcement and weren't contained in threads. They were in the 10.0 prediction thread.

Okay, I'm not going through the entire 9.x and 10.0 Speculation Thread, but
I found this somewhere between Page 2265 and 2275. And it's an edited version of what was posted. This was, I believe before or after we got the Screenshot from the Evoker Preview that was part of the Reveal ... and sometime before or after we got the Human Visage forms leaked.

There was plenty to fuel a dragon race/class and/or Evoker thing on 10.0's leak season. There's even a post from you inbetween those 10 Pages, commenting on how "the race is more than likely similar to Worgen."

Also.. at some point Scaleface did post his little cliché list of "This is what the xpac is" and Evoker was on the list, I believe he mistakenly called it an "Invoker". And that was definitely way before we got picture leaks.

You asked if it had occurred yet. I was saying that you'll likely not get anything like that until Oct. 31st or later when they actual leakers start to emerge.

Which is still technically part of the time frame you asked for. Perhaps next time you wanna narrow it down before asking in a very general sense. Leak Season is over when the expansion is revealed, not 2 days before that. Hence why the things we got were "Leaks" in the first place and not an Official Announcement.

Yeah, no it's not. The time frame I'm talking about is a month out from announcement, which is where we're at now. I was also mainly talking about leak threads like the Stormbreak thread that was just proven false. Actual leakers who post 24-48 hours before announcement that will post inside this thread in 30 days or so are a different group entirely, and we're not in that time frame yet.

Also possible, but how does one "factory reset" an elemental? Thunderaan was fully eaten and he still had his wits.

Seems like something elementals would be innately immune to, because they always "are" the "factory reset" due to their, well, foundationally elemental nature.

Factory resetting an elemental sounds to me like trying to factory reset a shovel, or a random rock.

I don't know if the "factory reset" might be it, again... this is only just in theory...

The other possibility is that these elementals have regressed into a state where they lost their memories and sentience and are just pure chaotic beings with form. Similar to the Elemental Wars that happened before the Old Gods showed up, and much longer before the Ordering.
