Pretty sure all of those things were talked about or mentioned at the wod reveal Blizzcon.

I dont remember the mention of that ogreland in any of that.

I just fail to see what they could announce that makes this hype seem sensible and logical. It's kind of comedic at this point how everyone has driven extra hype from the President, Community Managers and employees with the starting of this hype up being the content creator space.

It just does not really feel like they've got something that would resonate and engage the audiences.

If it's really Filler Island 2 then they are basically running a con (not a convention) at this point.

Faralon they did say was going to be added & the faction hubs.
Ogreland was seen on the map for the original announcement.
I believe they said the shatt tier was cut because of garrisons(?)

What they didn’t say was the tannan tier, but the zone was in the files & there were weapons (like the legendary gorehowl) also found.

Ye remember most of them now, but I dont remember they openly talked about the ogreland and how they would include that.

World Revamp is the only thing I can think of within the confines of WoW, though it's difficult to say given the hints towards Khaz'algar.

I checked it for you the Ogreland has actually been mentioned on the Blizzcon panel dedicated to in-depth on WoD. But it wasn't mentioned as part of a playable content I believe.

Honestly, I don't think I can see how that would happen unless it's for a spinoff. Any new WoW content or—in the wildest fantasies of the mentally-deluded—a new Warcraft RTS couldn't really "fall flat" insofar as the hype is oriented around the BlizzCon showing itself, even if the content actually proved bad on release.

You know what would be safe and relative cheap way to regain trust of many people? Release patch for Warcraft 3 that would add all stuff promised in 2018: new UI, cutscenes, etc. Free for people who own Reforged, but still many people haven't bought it or refunded.

Their excuse "oh we haven't done it cause some people want classic look" would become invalid, cause remastered version is already complete and new UI etc. would be optionable.

I think before they even think about Warcraft 4, they'll monitor that RTS game from ex-Blizzard devs. Something tells me it will be (commercial) flop, but if not, you can bet they would start production of Starcraft 3 or Warcraft 4.

Why we are changing history? Many people disliked Bolvar vs. Sylvanas CGI, but overall hype was big. Same with first few months post launch. Like in most 'hated' expansions, problems started with slow patch cadence after release.

During Blizzcon? They barely had anything to show. The hype only built up during Alpha because of Torghast.

If you’re a World of Warcraft “fan,” I can’t understand why anyone wouldn’t be excited for “what is to be revealed” at Blizzcon. It’s NEW content. Cautiously optimistic? Sure. However, if you’re losing your mind over one “datamined mount name” and the copious amounts of “leaks” that are ALL FAKE, then perhaps it’s time for you to play something else (versus hating on a community that is excited through an online forum).

Shadowlands was definitely the one where I didnt really feel excited. The theming on staying in the Shadowlands the entire time just completely failed to grab me in any way.

I think something that helps in these kind of threads is to never say anything definitive. Saying "x is 100% going to happen" or "x is 100% not going to happen" regardless of how much 'evidence' one has, in a speculation thread, is silly. Nobody here works for Blizzard (and if you do what are you doing leave now), so you don't actually know if something is happening or not until it's publicly announced to be. Speculating is fun, going all in/against something only causes arguments that by definition won't go anywhere until official information is released. Stop treating this entire thing like some sort of betting war, it makes it far more fun for everyone involved.

Yeah, I wouldnt have a problem if people presented their theory and let it up for discussion, but to claim a theory as fact is dumb. No offense to anyone who may or may not do that.

Big leak with Stormbringer that was then debunked once the high quality image showed up and was transparently AI generated. Then everyone got really excited about the big event today, which turned out to be Warcraft Rumble related.
