I certainly is interesting enough to keep in mind.

The spacing between the E and A is different on the screen and box art though.
Yes. Stormbreak is very convincing. I'd say the one problem is it looks like something that would be released last decade. I feel like that art looks exactly like WoW art i've seen before & that's not very appealing to new players. The Dragonflight artwork really popped. We saw that Shadowlands heroic edition mount every day during that expansion. That's only because they like to give things unique names. The Dreamweaver is just the Green Dragonriding mount with different wings & sticks attached.
For Example. that's why they're called "Mystic Runesaber," "Archanist's Runesaber" & "Nightborne Manasaber" instead of just "Runesaber (Purple)" "Runesaber (Blue)" & "Runesaber (Indigo)"
Very much so.
Despite what I said earlier, I'm pretty confident in saying it's not just an AI generated image. I mean, it actively spells out World of Warcraft: Stormbreaker and it's easily readable. AI doesn't really do words well.
The feathers on the gryphons wings also look too delicate for an AI generated image.
I definitely think someone put some effort into this, but I can't really buy it as being the real deal.
Again though, if the mount is a gyphon mount based on Dwarven stormriders, do you think we’ll go to Khaz Alagar and there will no NPCs around called Alagarian Stormriders? In other words, shouldn’t the Khaz Algarians have Stormriders if they have a gryphon mount that refers to them?
The art is blurry enough and so incredibly similar to that piece of Classic art that I'm leaning towards it being a touched up fake.
I also would not be surprised if the Heroic edition mounts have a more prominent feature in the post-Dragonflight era of WoW considering mounts have a bit more focus with the dragonriding features. I don't think the Algarian Stormrider will be the centerpoint mount (simply because not everyone will purchase a Heroic edition copy of 11.0), but I wouldn't be surprised if it takes up a bit more space in the worldbuilding of the expansion compared to previous mounts.
This does bring me onto a different line of thought though. Why not have this as the supposed Classic+ thing? Wildhammer Dwarves are right up the alley of Classic, and why would it be the case that Classic gets the expansion everyone in Retail wants? Why couldnt Classic be the one that finds a cave under Aerie Peak, and goes to the Undermine. While Retail gets the one where we have a world revamp and fight Scarlet Crusade in Northeron?
The world revamp dream will never die!
Also, I'm going to say something here that I also said on discord.
I'm really kind of not sold on the idea of Algarian meaning Khaz Algar.
Like, we don't call Gryphons from Ironforge/Khaz Modan "Modanian Gryphons".
I mean, we know it refers to "Algar" as it is written that way in other languages that don't use -ian, e.g. italian has the achievement name as Cavalcatempesta di Algar, spanish Jinete de la tormenta de Algar etc. If that ends up being Khaz Algar remains to be seen but I'd say it's likely given it was mentioned in the Observational Report.
No I don't because that's generally not how they name NPCs. Any generic NPCS riding that mount or a similar mount will likely be called < "Whatever the new name for the races is" Stormrider" > While Stormrider describes the rider and the bird, Algarian typically would only describe the gryphon, like it's a specific regional animal. Otherwise they'll be using whatever the name of the actual subrace is.
Elementals are transdimensional intruders from another plane; They don't typically identify them by region.
