How would you all feel if the world is revamped and we only get 1 new zone. Khazalgar as an end game Suramar type zone. Leveling campaign takes place in revamped older zones. Plus rotating world content in sections of the continents.

I would enjoy it. Though all my questions would be on why Khaz'algar wasnt just a zone for 10.3. Though for that matter that seems like it will be my main question regardless, so who knows.

A revamped world (or partially) with Khaz Algar as a Suramar type featuring a slightly retconned Skardyn ushering the begining of Void content would have the grounds for an absolute knockout expansion.

Ever since someone pointed it out, I just can't shake the feeling that the Skardyn will appear as whomever inhabits Khaz Algar, just with a slight retcon. Involved with Xal'atath, located in the depths of Grim Batol, it just feels like a line could be drawn easily.

Fly into the Maelstrom, with storms and stuff around it. Now connects to Khaz Algar instead of Deepholm, sort of how the Dark Portal (also a very iconic "portal") got repurposed several times. Descend into a vast cavernous kingdom, with the water pouring down in the middle to form a huge lake/ocean below. Dwarven style dwellings and stuff. Gryphon aviaries along the walls, with Storm Riders taking off in the wind.

Also fits because dwarves are the only alliance race that hasn't had a main focus in content for like ever

Could work but make the revamp 50-70 zones the new leveling zones if they make sense. We have enough zones to do this. One issue with Cata was how you basically time traveled back to Outlands then to Wrath to come back to Cata.

WHAT IF - in cata you went 1-60 in the cata leveling zone then straight into the cata xpack? That is how I picture the revamp happening ,but with the zones in a circle to encourage interaction between players.

I think it will end up fake, but always kudos to whoever actually try to go further than typical "leeks".

It's low res of course but i think it looks pretty nice.


About dwarves, it's time for them to shine, give me some big stronghold and epic music when entering.

if we're getting a world revamp I'm not expecting to get any new zones. The point would be put all new content into those revamped zones. World Revamp might still be a possibility but if it is I expect it's because the Algarians are actually invading Kalimdor/EK. Then the actual Khaz Algar can be a patch zone.

That'll be Wednesday. I imagine it's something specifically Blizzcon related, probably won't have any directly story ties.

This is where again I think it's important to float the idea of Khaz Algar being a part of EK via the "Khaz" connection.
