World of Warcraft: Stormbreak
Brave the storm. Venture into the Maelstrom to discover the forgotten lands of Khaz Algar. Ride your Stormrider and unleash devastating strikes against Queen Azshara's Shadowscale Naga—terrible monstrosities of the deep—and Iridikron the World-eater.
Delve deep. In the darkest corners of the world, the Harbinger is on the cusp of breaking into Uldaz. Here, the decayed husk of the Ancient One lies—kept secret by the Titans and half-consumed by her brethren. The awakening has begun!
I'm just not sure how many more "hidden continents" they could plausibly do without repeating themselves for the umpteenth time. They've explored most kinds of biomes and cultures by now, with a few exceptions like parts of the Americas, Africa, and Australia. Perhaps Japan, as well.
If we imagine Khaz Algar as a new continent, wrapped in mist, I just see it as some type of amalgamation between Stormheim, Dun Morough, the Azure Span and Loch Modan. It'd look beautiful with modern graphics and all, but it wouldn't feel too different from discovering the Dragon Isles, I think.
I want "oldschool fantasy" zones, but I think 11.0 has room for something different. As long as its rooted on Azeroth, and hopefully with a revamp coming soon.

I kinda want Avaloren to be this pristine "new world" type of deal on the other side of Azeroth, so a 12.0 thing. But sure, it could be part of this, especially considering those lines about "heretics" and strong defensive abilities. It also depends on when that report to Odyn was written. If it was in pre-Sundering days, Avaloren couldn't be around today's Maelstrom. But if it was post-Sundering, it could be.
Stormbreak seems to be this seasons Empire of Dragons
I will not reply to posts that are non-constructive or contain flaming and/or trolling.
Honestly if Avaloren is just 4-5 zones I'll be disappointed. They say continent, well make it a continent. Find a way to split it across two expansions. If we get 4-5+2 patch zones times two, then that gives you a proper continent.
So... most people kinda forgot that they no longer use a background behind the expansion's title?
I personally dislike the change from traditional, but after Dragonflight, it would be surprising that they return to that. So I think the "leaker" forgot about DF logo and decided to take inspiration from older expansions.
I disagree, especially for:
A) An expansion meant to be symbolic of Classic.
B) After an apparently less-than-popular expansion, considering the sales of Dragonflight. Maybe the marketers are walking back the logo changes because it didn't look properly Warcraft?
C) Dragonflight needed the big wings, so the logo may have changed to reflect that.
It's highly doubtful that the Algarian Stormrider is going to be a universal mount feature for this expansion. If the precedence holds, it's going to be a vanity mount.
That said, given the evidence of the heroic mount being an elemental, the pet named Squally, and the "Storm Rider" achievements, I do think the Maelstrom is in play. Perhaps not for Azshara, but perhaps as a pathway to the deeper parts of Azeroth.

I agree. I don't think Blizzard is using the traditional logo for their expansions anymore. I think we're going to see stuff like Dragonflight's logo for 11.0, especially if 11.0 is a direct sequel to Dragonflight as seems to be the case.
