We're going FULL CIRCLE from pre-patch (Uldaman) and 10.2 (if final patch).
While a joke, I do think you could even find a place for Dragonriding here. It is a new system and it should stick around, but I think maybe a debuff of some sort? It would feel like such a downgrade to go back to "Can't fly till max level", but maybe make flying in the new zone not last as long, vigor recharge nerfed? Use the Glyph system to buff it, so flying is it's own sort of evergreen system?
Pretty sure that's the point. It's the last part of the "A Song of the Depths" book from 10.0.7. Sky, Sea, and Earth.
Even with this they couldn't fit anything directly west and just putting it in the top left corner instead would be off. I think they'll do the Argus treatment, put an interactable graphic to the left of Kalimdor, and clicking on that brings up the map for western Azeroth?
Who even needs racial transformations when you are getting all these new customisation options for moonkin. Just keep adding more of those and for the other forms.
As someone who friggin loves Vol'dun and absolutely hates Thaldraszus, agreed. Although I don't have a problem with the Azure Span, as that one doesn't feel cramped to me exactly. But Thaldraszus? Ugh. I can't picture any specific place in that zone except the bronze flight area because it's all just cliffs and nowhere can breathe...
I'm hoping for at least some city revamps if we're getting BSOA (BackSide of Azeroth)
I think this was pointed out as soon as the map got updated, unless I'm misremembering. I'm surprised to see some people hating on the idea of finally seeing the other side of Azeroth, since it's been a rumour at least as long as I've been playing and I started in 3.0. I assume it was a thing in vanilla too.
The Storm Rider achievements are slightly more interesting now because it implies whatever we're Storm Riding(/racing) through (which now might be "The Storming Sea") is already in the game in some way. There are currently 3 encrypted maps (<10.2 spoiler>, The Nighthold (as set up in the last Tyr campaign) and a version of Aberrus), and none of those really fit. I wonder if they'll just make it some weather effect on e.g. The Great Sea map and drop a race in there, but that doesn't seem very interesting either. Hmm!
